jobs report in and a lame :wtf:155,000 expected 198,000
this isnt good for trump folks:eekeyes: because wage growth also missed the mark, now we know why the fed had to balk on any future interest rate hikes in the near future, thus sending gold sky high [IMG]
is this because the trade talks or is the tax breaks for the companies running out of stream already or the inverted short term bonds:confuse:

The international market is tied to the stock market...Trump must discover his failings in not observing this fact.

The Federal Reserve's plans of increasing interest rates due to a growing economy is what is spooking investors. From the OP's link:

The report initially sent stock futures higher as investors interpreted the weak data as a sign the Federal Reserve could slow down its pace of interest rate hikes in the future.

But Kate Warne, investment strategist at Edward Jones, said the numbers released Friday are not enough to deviate the Fed from its monetary-policy trajectory at this point. "The market is reading too much into this," Warne said. "The report was solid, not great, but it is still enough to keep the pace on track."

And they also say that low fuel prices are a sign of a slow economy.

The Federal Reserve isn't seeing a slowing economy which is why interest rates are expected to rise. Oil prices rise and fall due to output and reserves. It is not a very reliable long term prediction of the economy.

It's just something that was repeated when gas prices were low during Oblama..I need higher prices for a better annuity in petroleum investments myself.

Indeed since they don't like the exchange rate and the WWII influence is fading(no surprise). Just like the demise of the British pound sterling note as a world currency.

Unless you are developing the land it is a money drain until you either develop it or sell it.

Trump and his minions that don't understand that while "GLOBALISM!" might be an appealing anti-slogan, that doesn't change the fact that most economies are integrated into a global system whether or not we want them to be.

The democrats winning in Congress probably spooked foriegn investors into thinking that globalist like types that run France were coming back into power in America at their investments in America would be worthless.

Yeah, I'm sure it has nothing to do with global trade uncertainty because of Trump's wanton behavior, a less-than-expected rise in wages, healthcare costs not being addressed, or the ever-expanding deficit/debt. Must just be the Democrats! Christ, you guys are loons.

If a democrat tells you they want to make life better in America for Americans they are lying to your face. Democrats hate America and Americans blame them for all the problems on the planet and want to drag them down a notch so they can see how the rest of the world lives.

Never let a Democrat Sarah mccaskill you and tell you they are pro American because behind the scenes that couldn't be further from the truth.
