Those two guys are great, the girl is gorgeous and the professor is a liberal indoctrinator who needs to be brought up before the school admins and disciplined.

BTW, in most diverse schools these days no one flunks a course, even if they don’t show up. But if a person refers to women as bio women, then you get a zero.

Olivia Krolczyk, 20, said the professor for her Women’s Gender Studies in Pop Culture class failed her for using the “exclusionary” term despite admitting that she submitted a “solid proposal,” the student told The Post.

The course instructed students to pick a topic related to feminism, with Krolczyk choosing to research the changes female athletes have experienced throughout history and the rights and opportunities they have been awarded and fought for in athletics.

Her project discussed things from the first woman to compete in the Olympic Games to the fight that female athletes like Riley Gaines are making for proposed changes to Title IX.

The chemistry major said her project ended by sharing how “these rights and opportunities are being threatened by allowing men to compete in women’s sports.”

They definitely still fail. I just had my office vandalized by what we think are some disgruntled students who failed one of our required courses for their degree. Stuff stolen, office trashed, graffiti on walls. They mad because they too stupid to study for a course we offer once a year in the spring. Numerous students failed it even though it was their last 3 credits they needed to graduate.

Our woke faculty is getting tired of dealing with the problems they created by enabling the students in the first place. They thought they could fail our 400 level lab and just beg for the credit since its the last class they needed to graduate. Well they were told no, see you next spring.

 

Seems like a pretty dumb move by the professor.

Hopefully there is something that can be done to ensure the student gets credit for the course.

 

Sorry about your office and I’m glad you hold students accountable. When I said no one flunks, I was referring to k-12 classes in some schools, having the preferred qualifications helps, if you know what I mean.

 

It's about getting an education and not about being forced to abide a professor's personal biases.

When I was in college, I remember the teacher in one of my statistics courses warned us multiple time that anybody who said or insinuated that statistical models were predictive would get a ZERO. Not because it's wrong (some do use statistical models to predict things), but because it's superficial in what relates to a higher statistical framework (statistics are not intended to predict but to spot trends). Even though they MAY be used that way sometimes, at the higher level of precision he wanted to keep his course at, he expected students to maintain a more academically elevated view of the topic.

We don't know the circumstances behind this project. But I can think of several scenarios in which a big fat ZERO would be warranted in light of the above. The term "biological woman" is a useful shortcut in some circumstances and in day to day life. But, it refers to anatomical sex. Not to brain sex.

So, to put it simply, if somebody turns in a project about anatomical sex in a course about brain sex, they should repeat the course from start. We don't know if something similar to this is the case here. But judging from the untrustworthy source of this "scandal", I think it's likely this has nothing to do with LGBTQ+ movement, but simply with the subject matter of the class.

Higher level education very often surprise those who are unfamiliar with it. Including newer students and those who never attended a proper University. But it's natural to those of us who understand Academic Freedom.

Man that would really suck to miss graduation by one class and have to wait a whole extra year. I was afraid it was going to happen to me once but i would have just needed to take a summer class. It was a real weird situation. This was some fluffy class I was taking just to get across the finish line in terms of total credits needed to graduate I was taking as an elective. This was a class the prof had created and had taught for a dozen so years on her own and she had a massive stroke the weekend before the exam. Nobody could find her copy of the exam and nobody else in the department really had any clue what we were even studying specifically. They had considered just cancelling the class on the day of exams but there were about a dozen of us who would have been screwed out of graduating if they did. They just made up an exam with stupid generic essay questions like "What is the most interesting thing you studied in this class and why was this interesting to you?" "What do you think the most important take aways from this class are?" and stuff like that.

 

When you are taking a stupid course like that, you know you have to tow the line to pass/ You have tell the fool professor what they want to hear. This is a prime example of what I call "a little professor." She is an intellectual zero.

I would not be majoring in such foolishness, and I would never take something like that as a free elective.

 

Well to be fair, the girl is a heretic to the State Religion. If you take a course like Woman's Studies, this is to be expected.

 

If true, the first professor should be heavily reprimanded or fired. They aren't doing their actual job.

 

Fair point. Let's not pretend it's all, most or many teachers. And let's also not defend what she did. Lets all unite in condemnation of it and show others who may be thinking of pushing their politics (regardless of what that is) instead of doing their job that they should think again.

A strong united voice from the left and right condemning this sort of thing rather than making excuses for it would go a long way towards both justice and countering partisan fervor.

I believe another professor is going to regrade it. there is a local movement to get that professor fired. Using an ACCURATE term should never be grounds to be failed.
