I think the longer it goes on without resolution in the house the better it will be for Trump.

The more Democrats interfere with Republican questioning of witnesses the better it will be for Trump

The best thing Dems can do for themselves is to give Republicans everything they ask for during the proceedings.

It's pretty clear the democratic offensive is over. They are playing defense now and the more defensive they look the more partisan the proceedings will be seen. And that's good for Trump.

The only way Democrats make this look good is if their case is a slam dunk. And the Senate acquits anyway.

 

The only thing that will make this interesting is that those testifying will now be UNDER OATH! The threat of going to jail for contempt tends to make people tell the truth, I wonder if shifty thought of this?

Here is one detail Democrats hsve overlooked.
1. Ukraine and Russia hate eachother.

2. Trump supposedly loves Russia and is their puppet and that a Trump presidency is good for Russia.

3. As a result Ukraine should hate Trump and want to help destroy his presidency.

4. Pick one. Is Trump a Russian puppet or a Ukrainian puppet? You can't have both.

 

The evidence has been presented - the transcript of the phone call is all that counts. Everything else is just an opinion of Ambassador who' learned of the call from New York Times, of Ambassador who was fired by the President and therefore biased, and of the soldier who thinks he should be making US foreign policy, and not the President of the United States.

Anecdotally, I see folks in a philosophical holding pattern, waiting for something concrete to emerge. If the impeachment clique don't come up with a lot more than they've shown us so far, folks are gonna get real tired of it real fast.
