I have no reason to question the CDC numbers and you have presented to reason to do so other than your suppositions about them. That refutes nothing. And you realize the the 3% number you are citing means that any time you have sex there is a 97% chance the birth control will work. And that is each time it doesn't go down with your next romantic encounter. And that only applies to the times when the woman is fertile which means don't have intercourse when you are fertile and use birth control and use it properly and your chances of getting pregnant are practically nill.
