Indeed, most Republicans would actively seek to bring that about by law if they could, and many have advocated we do just that

 

It isn't that long since Republicans fought a rear guard action to keep homosexuality illegal. They have fought equal rights for gay people every step of the way. While others have accepted they were wrong on these issues, most Republicans continue to fight every single move toward equality as if they are somehow being victimized for having to stop hating people who are different.

The cynical 'who will think of the children' BS convinces no one, not least because the same people treat thousands of children dying from gunshots every year as if its some natural disaster about which nothing can be done. I wish they would get as upset about that as they do about a guy in a dress reading a book to children.

Its not strange. They have always hated gays, but now they are empowered to be openly hostile towards them under the "stop woke" banner. As this Target experience clearly demnstrates they are encouraged to attack businesses for having 'pride' themed merchandize. I don't know what might happen at pride parades next month (the 'pride month'), but violence is more than likely.

No one is asking you to celebrate anything. They celebrate it because they are not ashamed of being what they are.

Now its gays, but who is the next target? Blacks, immigrants, muslims, democrats.......Bad things always happens when hatred is encouraged, - and it IS being encouraged. The message is clear: people SHOULD lash out against gays, or anyone who supports them. You said it yourself when you said corporations will pay the price for supporting them.

Gay isn’t normal. The human race wouldn’t exist if gay was normal. As we all know a man and a woman is how we are designed to procreate and survive as a species. A man and a woman role model is the best environment to raise kids.

I don’t have a problem per se with being gay, but don’t try and pretend it’s normal. I’m okay with tolerating it, but encouraging it or promoting it with parades and other nonsense needs to be stopped. It looks like a lot of America is starting to feel the same way, and hopefully it continues.

I don't remember seeing any demonstrations celebrating Straight Pride. We celebrate a lot of things about life that we share but I don't recall a holiday to celebrate knowing how things work.
