The word gets out. People have been fired due to Veritas videos.

Project Veritas has received and published documents from an insider at Pinterest. The documents, which include product code, Slack messages, and internal policies, reveal terms and websites that Pinterest apparently censors.

In an interview, the Pinterest insider who leaked the documents explains how the company censors pro-life and Christian content on the website.

I noticed that Alex Jones' Prison Planet, and Zero Hedge, were on that list of blocked websites also.

Nearly all the others appear to be porn sites.

So which is it, can private companies discriminate?

Y’all seem to be in a dilemma.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It is a platform with a ToS. They are not publishing content — they are disseminating content others have created. Before you quote 47 U.S.C. § 230, courts have never held that companies cannot block creators that violate their ToS.

Selectively enforced laws sound like a civil rights issue.

That was what the whole "equal protection of the law" in the Fourteenth Amendment originally meant.

you tell me its your side that seams to have a double standard when it comes to discrimination
you don't get to choose who is and isn't acceptable to discriminate against
either you are against discrimination or not

Whaaa! You can't force baker to put a gay picture on his cake ... Whaaaa!

Whaaa! You need to force a private internet company to put my picture on their site ... Whaaaa!

    Whatever.

That case just went to court and the Baker won - he could not be forced to put gay images on his cake. Sorry, but there are unintended consequences with every action. The anti-gay baker case sets precedent for private companies to edit what is on their web-sites.

When did Facebook become a state entity?

I’ve tried but I just can’t muster up to care that groups pushing discrimination are being discriminated against. It’s almost... ironic, wouldn’t you say?

    Enjoy!

Can you post a law that says that or is it just your opinion?

Odd I didn’t see you caring when entire groups were being denied the ability to sign a civil document by the government.

Oh I completely agree. Discriminate away

    “We” outnumber you
The entertainment industry sides with “us”
The news media sides with “us”
The educational system sides with “us”
The US as a whole sides with “us”
The civilized world sides with “us”

why do you need a law to tell you its wrong to decimate against? shouldn't it be wrong law or not?
so if there were no law against murder you would say there is nothing wrong with murdering someone?
if you use the law to dictate right from wrong you have very low moral standards

Oh so you’re turning into a socialist now. It’s funny how that happens.

Business that are burdened by it should go down the street to another supplier. Freedom right?!?! Ain’t it grand!

    From their Twitter feed:

"In 48 hours @Pinterest has: - Removed @LiveAction from the porn domain block list - Added them back on to the list - Permanently BANNED their account - Sent a statement to Veritas that neglects to refute our findings - FIRED our Pinterest insider PART 2 coming soon."
