This is why they blame man for climate.

Blame humans and you collect from them taxes, you make laws against humans, you restrict humans, you make them feel guilty (see Bowerbird and Iamanoman and other posters lamenting what jerks humans are on this thread and the Curry corner thread. I shall keep adding science to the Improved Curry Corner and they keep trying to fight me. I am not their problem. i do not produce the science I keep posting. i merely bring it to you all.

Wealthy Dems like to heavily populate and develop the coasts. In a time of 20,000 years of rising oceans, they want us to bail out their bad decisions. I say NO THANK YOU@!

New theory on 'Snowball Earth' challenges climate change orthodoxy

Scientists call it "The Great Unconformity" and it throws conventional theories about climate change for a loop.

I was expecting to see more charts measured in sub-mm per decade of sea level rise. I was disappointed.

Apparently I confused them when I pointed out there's a 70+ degree Fahrenheit difference in the temperature in NA and Australia right now due to the tilt of the earth.

You know its summer down there right? You aren't supposed to bring up warming stuff when its winter in the northern hemisphere, people just don't buy it when they are freezing. Anyway, so what? Not one single city is in that red zone...

It's almost as if the middle of Australia is a big desert.

It grates on my nerves to read them whine about 1 or 2 degrees change but tell me the many degree changes of temperature and changes of climate in CA do not matter at all. Saying it is just local. To all of us, our local climate is definitely local. But if that is not what they fret over, why do they use local events trying to scare us?

Yes, you might get the idea Australia does have places that get very hot. Still not as hot as we have it in CA. We have the hottest place on this planet but the record is not recently it is clear back to 1913. Not that many fuel burning vehicles then existed. An other major factor is that in 1913 the population on Earth was much smaller. We had fewer animals to feed humans too.

We need to fight this global warming threat by allowing the energy consuming first world countries to reduce their population. The sad thing is that when Europe and the US try to reduce their population they are forced by liberals to accept mass migration from third worlders with an extremely high birth rate. Liberals, please reexamine your position on immigration vis-à-vis climate change.

Though I have been all points of the compass around that road and junction, I never have driven that road. In the spring i am told and photos show well, the desert blooms and is quite attractive. Then it get very hot. I was in Death Valley one time and then it was over 110.

Here we go refuting claims by the alarmists. I summed it up for the naysayers.

False dichotomy, I don't subscribe to either.

I believe the literature indicates that global warming due to carbon emissions. The literature does NOT indicate a cataclysmic end of the world scenario that AOC is chicken littleing.

And what are these “first world” countries doing to ease the population growth in third world countries

Why they are cutting funding to reproductive aid - especially contraception

Republicans - want people to use abstinence and then complain about the high population growth

She would be one of the few “chicken littleing” and she is NOT a climate scientist

Show me a climate scientist who is “chicken littleing”

Since when have record heat waves NOT been a current event?

It is bearable. It hits this much in Arizona quite often in the summer time.

Global warming? Maybe. But global warming is cyclical... in another millennium or two the cooler temperatures will return. Be patient, my friend.

So. When will you win the Nobel prize by identifying the cause of these mysterious “cycles”? Or is the heat given off by fake birth certificates

Everything is cyclical, and I bet you A$1,000 in a millennium there will be a global cool-down.

    Trust me.

No one cares what might happen in a thousand years....I am concerned about the next hundred. Actually I will be dead before that so ….no worries. Your kids might get a bit pissed off though.
