Well that is the concern of a lot of Republicans right now so maybe they will?

Could be a repeat of Obama's first term without the ill-advised attempts at bipartisanship.

The economic disaster started before he was in office but don't let the facts stand in the way of a good story.

Because the US is subservient to China and the WHO under Trump I guess. So yes, it is Trump's fault for giving up responsibility for American lives.

The economy made a major recovery in his first term starting the greatest period of job growth in our country's history.

That is ALWAYS up to me. I hear what he says entirely and in context. The media does not provide that option.

True he shouldn’t have trusted them like prior presidents. Good thing he learned and defunded WHO and broke away from the same prior trade practices with China

Dems want to turn us into North Korea? Eh, it's Trump who fell in love (his words) with Little Rocket Man and has an affinity for autocrats the world over while failing miserably to get along at all with the leaders of democratic countries, and it's Trump who just used armed federal troops against peaceful protestors in Washington, D.C. and has called for "dominating" the streets and even shooting people committing property crimes.

Trumpism is clearly a religion and a cult, because it deludes its adherents and removes them as far from reality as any other religion or cult has managed to do.

Those weren't armed federal troops, they were the national guard. And Barr mentioned they were on standby, they weren't deployed. Also, according to Barr they weren't peaceful(I mean, burning the church is enough said.) The whole area should've been walled off from the start, so there wouldn't have been a need to clear it later.

I like how you diminish it to "property crimes" instead of violent domestic terrorism against our fellow citizens. It knows/knew no political distinction as all suffered unduly the first insurrection in US History(and the events in Seattle show you that it's an insurrection)

To the contrary, I find the government response to be weak and unresponsive, and we're only so fortunate that calmer minds eventually prevailed on the streets to an extent. What would've happened if they kept pushing while Esper laughably said "We aren't there"?

The message to Russia and China is: "Oh, so we can push them there." The looters would have had the same response, so the madness and mayhem would've continued. All good to get Trump out right? Yeah, well in the meantime your brothers and sisters in this country suffered the damage. Still worth it?

You mean the 60+ secret service members who were injured? Those Americans? I'll be blunt: Last week was the closest we actually really came to a Civil War 2.0, and it's not as pretty and easy as North VS South. It's more, extremists on one side, extremists on the other with innocent civilians caught in the middle.

It was ground zero in many of these areas, I do wish we were better able to protect the press. But given what the situation was, they were doing their best to restore order.

No, not when they cleared peaceful protestors out of the way so Trump could go do his propaganda photo shoot with a bible. That was a violation against law and order (and the protestors' rights). It was authoritarian and disgusting, and absolutely unamerican.

And Biden/Pelosi didn't do a photo shop in the last week? What was the memorial service literally around the world for George Floyd? Nothing but photo ops and propaganda. Trump should be able to go wherever and whenever he pleases without a threat by any of his fellow citizens and that wasn't a guarantee in that situation.

But AG Barr period has said that Trump's decision did not factor into the order that he gave over the weekend and reiterated at 2 PM.

No, not at all. I'm glad that 'protesters' are becoming more peaceful and the situation is dying down. At that moment in time, I felt(and 60% of Americans felt) that we needed a strong hand, and that appeasement in our time didn't work any better for us then it did for Neville Chamberlain. Seattle is currently dealing with that circumstance as we speak.
