    Texas couple faces child endangerment charges after kicking 7-year-old son out of the house because he’s supposedly possessed by demons.


    A Hooks, Texas couple has been charged with child endangerment for allegedly locking a 7-year-old boy out of the house with instructions to never return.

    Ronald “Keith” Wright, 55, and Rendy Jo Wright, 39, allegedly told deputies with the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office that a preacher told them the child is possessed by demons.

    Drug addled parents seek parenting advice from wayward, dumb preacher. There's all sorts of wrong involved here.

    The real reason the kid wasn't listening to the parents was because he lost all respect for them. Probably.

    The parents probably spent most of their time in a drug induced stupor. I'm reminded of a photo I saw recently of two parents passed out in a car with a child in the back seat. Yeah, it was probably like that, a typical day for these people.

    And we want to legalize drugs???

    No, RELIGION is to blame here. As Modern Secular Humanists they would NOT believe in "demons" or other such unscientific nonsense that "Jesus" believed in. Too bad Jesus isn't real or he'd of course have come down w/in the last 2000 years and told us that "demons" are not real. I certainly would have, since I care about people far more than "Jesus" does.

    Drugs are illegal now. Didn't stop this from happening.

    The libertarian position is that drug abuse and addiction is a medical problem, not a criminal one. So, how well is the war on drugs doing at stopping the problem?

    During an earlier conversation with the member Vegas Giants pertaining to how overdose-related deaths from various illicit narcotic substances have actually increased, the argument presented in defense of continuing the war on drugs was that the prohibitions are working, because the increases were not as high as they would be otherwise.
