. . . and her unbelievable suffering finally came to a end?

"The conviction of 31-year-old Matthew Scully-Hicks for the murder of his 18-month-old adopted daughter Elsie has brought to end a traumatic four-week trial"

How the **** could he do it? What's happening to us??

Don't read the details unless you have a strong stomach.

And as usual 'all the warning signs were missed by the authorities': and again as usual the mealy-mouthed 'Lessons will be learnt.' excuse will be trotted out by the bureaucrats who are destroying this country in the hope that it will all go away - until something similar happens again.

Reminds me of that story of a woman who tried adopting a Somalian baby and found it more than she could handle. (She shamefully had to return the child back after only 6 months)

Do we really think most men are programed with that nurturing attentive touch to deal with and take care of an infant full-time?
Anyway, she does look like a difficult one. (Another downside that often comes with adoption, unfortunately)

If the above isn't a case for capital punishment then I don't know what is! As it is, he'll be sentenced to 7 years imprisonment then the psycho will come out and do it again.

Not to me she doesn't - she look like a little angel. I find it hard to look at the photo and not 'well up'.

I do hope his little sphincter is puckering at the prospect of getting the same treatment from his room mates in prison.

You almost know what the report is going to say.... no time for proper visits.... heavy caseloads due to cuts.... staff shortages... unable to recruit.... he was a clever man covering up the details.... very plausable young man.... we have learned some hard lessons.... implementing new structures and rigid guidelines.... involving all stakeholders in future oversight... ad nauseum.

    OFFICIAL REPORT:
    Dead soz she died :(
    **** happens :icon_shithappens:
    Others missed it too:blahblah:
    Don't blame us :hiding:
    Can't get the staff :brainless:
We'll do better in future :bandaid:
