The aggressive plans of Russia in the Caspian sea

The article "Around the Caspian sea" considered the question of possible strategic plans of Russia in the Caspian region, the countries of which are serious potential competitors of Russia in the oil and gas market (1). This fact may deprive Russia of its monopoly on the supply of hydrocarbons to the EU, which is similar to the one-sided Russian economy of death. Moscow does not want a repeat of the economic situation that led to the collapse of the Soviet Union and painfully perceives any gas supply project from the Caspian basin to Europe bypassing Russia. Thus, by 2020, gas from Azerbaijan (2) will continue to be supplied via the southern gas corridor to Italy, and with the construction of the TRANS-Caspian gas pipeline, Turkmenistan will join this project. It seems that such a turn of events is perceived by Moscow as the highest manifestation of arrogance, and even from former brothers who decided to dispose of their natural resources without permission. To once and for all to stop such bacchanalia of the disbanded insolent, Russia continues to prepare for the restoration of the Empire at an accelerated pace within the borders of the USSR, which, in addition to Ukrainian events, is also confirmed by the build-up of naval forces in the Caspian sea. In the appeared characteristic of the Russian media nahvalskoe by the tone of the note on the transfer-based Caspian fleet from Astrakhan port in the Dagestani Kaspiysk ( https://russian.rt.com/russia/article/499196-kaspiiskaya-flotiliya-baza-dagestan ) do not hide that "the move will significantly increase the capabilities of this pooling of the Navy". It is further reported: "as a result, a full port infrastructure will be created in the Dagestan port. The base will be protected from natural disasters and possible attacks of the enemy." I wonder what kind of enemy from the Caspian region plans to attack Russia? You have to be crazy to set such targets and the like among the leaders of the Caspian countries the mentally ill are not observed. And yet, today Russia has in the Caspian sea is much more warships than during the Cold war. Moreover, modern ships with missile weapons have been put into operation. "In total, the Caspian flotilla consists of 17 units. The surface component includes 28 warships and boats: two patrol ships, three small missile ships, four small artillery ships, five artillery boats, one missile boat, seven minesweepers and six landing ships.» From the fact that there are six landing ships in the fleet, it should be unambiguous conclusion that Putin's Russia intends to land the ichtamnets, and not on its own territory, but should be believed in neighboring Caspian countries. Iran is clearly excluded. Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan remain, that is, countries that are competitors of Russia in the field of sales of hydrocarbons. Undisguised aggression lies in the words:"the tasks of the CFL include assistance to the forces of the southern military district, protection of trade routes and oil fields." What kind of oil fields in the Caspian sea can be protected, if Russia has none, unlike Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan? And the trade route probably means the recently opened "silk Road" from China to Europe bypassing Russia, including the ferry crossing through the Caspian sea between Kazakhstan and Baku (3). From whom in such time Russia is going to protect a sea crossing? Not really from Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan? We must think that the protection is meant only as a seizure. Foreign Minister Lavrov spoke frankly on this point:"the project of the TRANS-Caspian gas pipeline affects the legitimate interests of Russia." ( http://tass.ru/politika/1582470 ) That's it, no more, no less. In other words, if Baku and Ashgabat decide to lay a gas pipe on the bottom of the Caspian sea, they will inevitably violate the laws of Russia, and with the violators, as we know, the conversation is short, and the method has been successfully tested since the annexation of the Baltic countries: the introduction of the army (in modern interpretation - the ichtamnets), further a referendum on voluntary accession, with the provision of free resort treatment in the Arctic.

The agreement on the status of the Caspian Sea essentially approved the military hegemony of Russia in the water area of the Caspian Sea, and the creation of marines in the structure of the Russian fleet in the Caspian Sea, which had never before been, clearly points to the Kremlin's military plans for the Caspian countries.

In response to the escalation of Russia's military preparations in the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, together with Turkey, is planning to build 4 warships. https://ru.sputnik.az/tech/20180930/417242375/voennye-korabli-dlja-kaspija.html
Certainly, the increase in tension did not occur if Moscow did not intensify military preparations in the Caspian Sea, which are unequivocally directed against the Caspian states that were Soviet republics, because there are no others like in the Caspian. Naturally, Iran cannot be an enemy for Russia, since it is its strategic partner. Perhaps in the future, Turkey will help create a navy for Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. So that the law of physics “every action causes opposition” is also manifested in politics.
