Dude...it's not even in the bottom three malt liquors. There's King Cobra, there's Private Stock, and there is Bad Frog.
How about this Beer Factoid. Schlitz,Once the true King of beers,being # one throughout the 50's & 60's is Brewed under contract for Pabst by Miller Brewing Co. Schlitz is somewhat impressive since coming out with it's Retro Original Recipe.
Schlitz gives me the s h i t z. That doesn't stop me form drinking it though. It's one of those beers like PBR, or Busch Light, that's good for partying... especially when hanging out on the river.

As a neat sideline there is a lot of stuff on YouTube reviewing beers.By average schlubs.Meaning it's very believable and down to earth. One guy is named Chad'z. or Chad'z Beer reviews There's also a guy {large fella} calling himself " Tiny " Tim Rauscheder who is some kind of American Beer Guzzler extraordinaire.Last night I wached a few of his tube. This guy is unreal.He tried to set a new record for drinkin every size Old English they offer.He got thru the first 3 sizes then on to a 40 oz. bottle. It would have been 105 oz. in 10 minutes.That was his goal.But since he was having a bad night and couldn't belch { man you don't wanna know how this guy can burp } he was slowed down.He got halfway thru the 40 oz. and called it a night since he went past the 10 minute mark. But there's plenty of Tubes of him drinking 40 oz Malt liquors in record time. His fastest is 16 seconds.How did he do it.
I've tried, and still try a lot of beers. I have a major penchant for American craft ales. But I always come back to Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. It is still my all time favorite, and the benchmark by which I judge all hoppy beers.
lol, that's so true. Makes me wonder though, if Bud Light would stop allowing them to sell their beer if they ever found out they say that on the menu.
I seldom drink beer anymore.But I see where YouTube has a following for Beer Guzzlers and also Mini-Beer Critics.However they all use the same exact terms when describing beer.The latest Term is " Adjunct ".I never heard that term as a Homebrewer 10-12 years ago.An Adjunct beer is one where cheaper ingredients are used,especially corn or Rice.
Having watched recently all these Chuggers/Guzzlers on YouTube i am stunned with all these new Alcohol concoctions that pass as Malt Liquor. Like ... FOUR LOKO These are just mere near poison in a can To Go.Yes,there is such a thing as poison in a can.Alcohol that can and will overwhelm the average body and cause sickness or even death.By combining cheap ingredients with too much alcohol,sugar and caffeine it is a disaster waiting to happen for the average body. Yes,Boone's Farm was also Cheap and sugary but it wasn't a death warrant. One would have to drink enough to pass out first.Meaning there was an instant fail safe. But once caffeine is added one may not just Pass Out.They'll stay awake long enough to commit Alcohol poisoning. I say rid the market of such Poison.Alcohol beverages meant exclusively for abuse. The factor should be food.No Alcohol should be allowed for marketing that isn't in some way complimentary for a Meal.Even Boone's Farm could be considered complimentary. Or stuff like MD 20/2o as an after dinner drink.
I like almost all beer. Rare I come across one I dislike. That said, some of my favorites I can get readily here are Red Stripe (YAY BEER), Foster's, Stella Artois, Sam Adams, etc.. I'm totally down with Sam Adams' seasonal ale and lagers. Like angels frolicking on my tongue.
Sam Adams is surprisingly good for Domestic. I loved that Summer Ale but can't find it in bars except very rarely, I guess it's a seasonal brew.

Do not ... I Repeat DO NOT Fall prey to these so-called strongest beers as if drinking one will demonstrate how manly. There is a BCC series - Top Gear - which is very good.Basically about Cars and times and best cars and fastest cars and celebrity who drive a course for the fastest times. They did a show touring Europe for Vintage Beers.Beers that are aged very long and also very strong.Those beers basically were Poison.Just a few big swigs could cause one to have their head spin and get nauseous and sick.Have to lay down and hope they didn't drink enough to actually get poisoned. Beer is NOT something that can be aged like Wine.I don't care what anybody tells you. IT's a LIE.It will get stronger but that has more to do with the funkiness of the bottle conditioning or yeast.I guess there's a market now for barrel-conditioned Lambic style brews which still have a shelf life.I doubt they could survive past 10 years w/o serious issues. Beer is NOT Wine.OK ... ya got that.Wine is expected to age.Beer hardly ever. Only quality wine requires aging.Beer Never should require aging. The worst beer I ever had were ones that had Vintage on the bottle. As a Homebrewer,I could appreciate where aging had it's place.I brewed about 25 different style beer over 5-6 years.I lucked out and had one batch that was as good as it gets.A classic Imperial Stout.It did improve with age.It was almost black,with very beautiful well knit bubbles { lasting creamy head} and a distinct boutique.I had no idea'r how strong even though I did take the mandatory Hydrometer reading as with all my homebrews for Specific Gravity. This was like 14 years ago.That Imperial Stout sat patiently in my cooler basement for over a year.Like most of my Homebrews they Foamed like crazy. Because of bottle-conditioning.But that foam was almost always real rich with very tiny bubbles that were well knit and clung to the sides of a glass. The worst beer will always have lazy big bubbles that quickly dissipate. The best beer will always have well-knit tiny bubbles that LACE. Lace is this new beer term that means how bubbles will stick around on the side of a glass and leave an imprint.
Sorry but that is NOT Beer.It has NO carbonation.Flat as Hell on a Football sunday. To be a Beer there MUST be Foam.Even if just a little.
I've found that you can't go wrong with Yuengling... Well, except for the Lord Chesterfield Ale, but, then again, I'm not really an ale person...
