They'll make the middle class pay which is why they (Bernie and Warren) didn't want to answer the question.....

Like you say about Amazon if it was so easy to make rich people pay it would've been done already but decade after decade administration after administration the story goes rich people don't pay their taxes so what makes you think that will change now?

    The middle class will pay

Until recently most people who got Medicare either did not pay in at all (my parents) or did not pay in enough to pay for the medicare they receive. I am retired and although I paid in to medicare I did not qualify. I must have private insurance or go without.
To say that giving assistance to Americans so that they can afford healthcare or even giving access to healthcare for those that can't because we must stop illegals is a false choice. We can do both

You are probably right unless the financing is structured differently.

Are you sure you're not thinking of Medicaid? Medicare is available to any citizen over 65.

Well the Patients who do get said HC seem to get better outcomes then the regular system in the US

Looking it up, it seems that most complaints are regarding funding, constant turn-over, and lack of oversight. Not the actual care provided.

The only people who are misleading me are the liars who are telling me they're not trying to take anyone's health care away.

As for the questions concerning the expense, which will surely run wildly over-budget like everything else the federal government runs, and who is going to pay for it, those are the problems that adults face in life, and the liars who claim they're not trying to take anyone's health care away haven't been leveling with us about that, either. I don't hear them telling anyone how their scheme is going to drive the cost of health care up for millions of Americans.

Being as how the government doesn't actually pay for anything - taxpayers do - I'm glad you mentioned deficits and priorities. Our national debt has exploded over the past 10 years and what do the spendthrifts in Washington do? Enact more budget-busting government programs. As for priorities, let's go ahead and talk about the border wall. As Ron Paul pointed out some time ago, if we did something about our broken immigration laws and the financial incentives that attract migrants to our country in the first place, we would save hundreds of billions of dollars and a border wall would be unnecessary. Priorities? In Washington? Don't make me laugh - between the two parties everyone wants more of everything.

Clearly, the federal government doesn't operate in a smart and efficient manner, which is one of the many reasons why "Medicare for All" is one of the worst ideas ever.

Speaking of crazy ideas, I have one - how about improving the HI/HC systems that we have instead of burning them down and handing control of our health care over to the most corrupt and inefficient entity in the country - the federal government? Instead of making HI/HC more expensive for millions of Americans, why don't we make it less expensive? Instead of making it more inefficient, why don't we make it more efficient?

It makes no sense. Why would people who want more healthcare want to take away healthcare?

I haven't forgotten or overlooked anything.

Warren & Co. have to take away to replace. She lied and you're obfuscating.

Yes, we know, and Fauxcahontas can keep her grubby hands off my healthcare.

FullRetardCare should be put out of its misery. Thankfully, the worst part of that power grab - the individual mandate - is already dead.

Simple - to force people into government-run healthcare.

You are the one who put it in the same sentence as a choice. (I went back to check for sure, and you did it, fact check it.)

I wonder this too. You don't have to "qualify" for Medicare, as far as I know, except by age. And, if you have worked, you do pay into it. The only reason I can think of that a retiree wouldn't qualify is if they have retired early and not old enough.

By taking away 180 million Americans' healthcare.

This isn't some sort of Gordian Knot...

I get that you're lying to defend Fauxcahontas' lies. "Progressives" did a lot of that while they were defending the mountain of lies that Obama & Co. built FullRetardCare on...

I have good healthcare. Why should I subsidize deadbeats, illegals, and other Dims?

From each according to their ability. Eh comrade.

It isn’t, but that’s irrelevant. It’s not single payer. What is being proposed by democrats is single payer. Which is empirically more efficient, provided better care and is way cheaper than our system.

But nobody is doing that, or proposing to do that. Which is why your continued claims that they are is so silly.

no it’s just a demonstrable falsehood.

The biggest !ie is Medicare for all. We cannot pay for it unless it is offered as an insurance option and the premium is paid based upon income. It can't be free. It should be offered in place of Obama care plans offered by private insurance Companies. The coverage is certain, can't be denied and do-payment 20%. Private insurance to cover the 20% can be purchased on the private market as it is now for Medicare insureds.

I would vote for this. Employer plans still available.

No free insurance for illegals. No way.

It is. Long wait times. Multiple visits to doctors before you see the right doctors. I gave it up and paid for it myself. Too many patients and doctors reluctant to participate because the pay was too low.

It’s not. And what times aren’t long.

Single payer is cheaper, more efficient and provides better care than our system. This is an empirical fact.

I make an appointment with my doctor and I can usually see him or a physician assistant the same day or my doctor the next day. I have waited for weeks to see a doctor in a VA hospital.

I just enrolled in Medicare on April 1 and purchased a supplemental policy and a prescription drug plan. I pay about $250 a month, down from $875 and my copays are much lower. I have the best doctors in the area. UCLA Stein Eye Center and Cedars Sinai. I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the eye orbit in 2018 and I am now getting the best possible care. I could not be happier with my present plan.

Which isn’t a long wait time. It’s not emergent. You don’t need to be seen same day.

It may be a over hyped promise but how is that a lie (and I realise I am asking this of people who do not acknowledge that Trump lies daily)
