You are an unusual Prog. Too smart, I would venture to suggest.

I have listened to the Squares, and I don't agree with them at all. I'm a commie bustard, remember.

I think you need to ditch the Progs. They're an embarrassment. Misfits and losers with chips on shoulders.

I don't want housing or a federal jobs guarantee. Just universal healthcare, education, paid family sick leave, and a 15hr min wage.

This is why prospective employers ask questions like what you expect.

I'm guessing that you're going to have a hard time finding one willing to concede to those demands, but... good luck!!!!

The system is built for gridlock. But this is my ideal system. I am lenient on compromises, but compromises can be made to get here.

Some of their thinking is terrible, sure. But not ALL. No one political ideology is all good or all bad.

And who said it was a two choice sitch? It isn't. You could simply be a purist Lefty, like moi.

The system is based on how much you're worth, and how much you expect. Expect too much, and all I can say is that I hope you can find a piece of cardboard that's softer than the sidewalk.

You go into a job interview and hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

I not talking about the job market, or anything about employers. Just simply what my ideal system of govt is.

I'm guessing that as a progressive, you're thinking 10000000 percent.

One of the many reasons you guys are about as leftist as a Hitler. All you know is government, and that's all you know.

What I'd really like to know is when the left became the people who look to government to solve their problems? People say that they didn't leave the left, but the left left them, and I can totally relate to that.

When did the fabulous furry freak brothers start demanding that the government be in charge of their lives? You lefties need to understand that you really did leave "the left".

and this is why you are fought against every step of the way.

This isn't about looking for the govt to solve 'their' problems. This is about finding the right policies which improve people's lives, and recognizing the negative externalities that capitalism has within healthcare and education, two basic necessities of life. Universal healthcare and education improve people's lives.

Where on the campaign or on his website did he say he want's a complete government takeover of the economy and that workers should own the means of production? He is mis-labeling himself. He is a social-democrat.

A long time ago. Communism was all the rage by college Professors in the 60's-70's, now they think Socialism will solve all the problems.

    Just ignore Venezuela.

Don't know. He is a self described socialist though. If you have a bug in your chimney with his words take it up with Sanders.

Yes it does and Europe is already starting to experience how well this works when you start having to invite foreigners in because your own people aren't creating enough babies to keep the system afloat.

This is a farce. Social democracy is not communism or socialism. It is capitalism (market economy) with social benefits like universal healthcare and education. I know this is hard for many to grasp, but this true. Scandinavian nations are bigger so called 'nanny' states in many categories and they are not Venezuela or an economic hellhole, and haven't been for some time now.

On the other hand the closest to unadulterated capitalism was right here in the US and it lead to the biggest economic collapse in our history.

These are things that I want, because they improve people's lives. We live under a social contract. Taxation is apart of the social contract. This American exceptionalist, indivualist aspect in the terms of healthcare has left large swaths of people with medical bankruptcies, in debt, and death. So spare me with that individualism in healthcare. We are lucky we both weren't born on the other end of the stick.
