Keep up your unpatriotic excuses and liking to insurrectionists.

I said I wouldn't forget, and hopefully more will go. !!!!!

What are you talking about? I asked if you remember the riots from 2020?
Your only defense is amnesia of the riots in 2020 that cost taxpayers BILLIONS of dollars and I don’t know how many lives?? Really??

    Really?

Then you back that up with January 6, a holiday that democrats, and democrat supporters scream at the top of their lungs “Trump did this” with absolutely no evidence that even with a government sponsored commission supported by you tax dollars still could not “get President Trump”.

Keep voting for dems dairy, they’re hard at wok for you.

    In your mind that is

Again, I think your conception of the GOP, as obedient to some unidentified "they," of leadership, is unreflective of reality. The only one, who could facilitate such loyalty, is Trump himself-- since those who are only looking out for their own interests, fear Trump's ability to ruin them. Due to this, no Republican in Congress is going to start cooperating or testifying against Trump, simply because Mitch McConnell, or the RNC, tells them to. Nor are any going to say anything too strongly against Trump, before they see signs that he has been defanged.

Really, after the years of their fawning obeisance, how can you imagine that there exists the courage, among the GOP ranks, in general, to go after Trump? It is only those who plan to challenge him in the Presidential Primary-- Pence, Christie, Pompeo-- who are saying anything at all negative about Trump, and none of it could be termed "harsh" criticism. In fact, Trump's most serious challenger, DeSantis, has been seemingly ignoring him. The idea that McCarthy, or Jim Jefferies, or the like, is going to take Trump head on, in public, or even
testify against him, just appears divorced from reality, IMO.

As far as your other, enumerated lever, the GOP supposedly holds over Trump: he is by far, the largest fundraiser, the Republicans have; how are "they" going to "interfere with his fundraising?" And, while Trump certainly is cheap, he can afford his own lawyers. But the fact that the RNC is footing the bill for any part of Trump's defense, should show you how off-base are your expectations of "them"-- at least until after it is clear that the tide has turned irreversibly against Trump; national Republicans, will not be the ones who cause that tide to change.

While I would prefer it, if you were right, and we could depend on Mark Meadows, and others, coming forward with a mountain of damning testimony against the former President, there seems no reason to anticipate that to be in the offing, if only Trump pushes the envelope, just a hair further.

Insurrection and seditious conspiracy are two different things in the USC.

I would encourage you to examine the two words more carefully. There's a reason why no one has been charged with insurrection. Basically sedition involves words, while insurrection involves armed violence. That's a distinct difference.

But we must use the word "insurrection".... it is the reason Pelosi came right out of the gate with a word that I had not heard used very much... but she used it in every mouthful of lies she spewed afterwards....

I've commented on this before. The Democrats are priming any potential jury in a Trump trial to conflate the two words in order to obtain a conviction of him on that charge to keep him from running in 2024. The 1/6 kangaroo court has shown just how desperate they are to make this all about Trump and keeping him from running (Cheney has let the cat out of the bag numerous times). The only charge that would keep Trump from the WH is a conviction of INSURRECTION. That Bar is a monumental one to reach, but they sure are trying their damnest to get there.

That is the Republican take on it. Now maybe you can address the Democrats take on it?

And for some getting Trump out of their brain is not exactly dealing with reality.

Yep...They are trying to get it as close to the name "Trump" as they can get it.. This will be front and center in the media driven "court of public opinion".

I posted several times that I would not forget nor forgive Trump and his supporters their transgressions with taking Putin's word over USA intelligence services and let alone 1/6, and let's not forget the stealing of secret documents.

    Today has happened. :)

Dysfunctional politics means dysfunctional voters. We are captives of a system where people ask for money and benefits from government and government supplies them. You can't run an effective government with vote buying. That is one reason we don't have an effective federal government.

Right, individuals should be held to account. There were people at the Capitol who never went inside, never confronted the police, and had every right to be at the Capitol unless they were legally ordered to disperse by authorities.

That is off topic. This thread is not about 2020. It's about 1/6/21 and the breaking in to the Capitol to stop the election process. Please stay on topic.

Back up with Jan 6? That is the topic of the OP and trump issues revolving around it. Please stay on topic.

I can't believe you've watched every vote I've made. I think you're not telling the truth. You have no idea how you vote.
But I suppose you have to throw out ad homs baselessly because you can't stay on topic.

Why? I am not a democrat.
I take it to mean what it is. Not what some other person or party thinks.

We should never forget how the Democrat base involved themselves in the death and destruction due to the George Floyd riots of 2020!

Your criticism of the source is dismissed. Do you even know how the definition of words find their way into Merriam Webster?
