When it comes to mindlessly childish adoration of, and obsequious forelock-tugging toward those whose main contribution to society is to have a life of untrammelled luxury and privilege thanks to the 'hard-working taxpayers' of the UK, nobody does it like The Daily Fail - "The duke's picture occupies the entire front page of the Daily Mail. "The nation salutes you, sir," it declares" .. . together with the royal toady of the nation's favourite broadcaster, the BBC - "BBC royal correspondent Nicholas Witchell said the duke - the longest-serving consort in British history - "clearly feels he now wishes to curtail" his "familiar role" in support of his wife" Gawd, it's enough to make you wanna throw up! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs/the_papers
Odious old curmudgeon that makes Dracula look fresh-faced. Arrogant and demeaning beyond description, and a massive sh.t in his early private life.
That one good thing about a monarchy, people such as the likes of President Trump are excluded from the position.
I have friends in England who are die-hard royalists and support everything the Queen or any other member of that family does or says. According to them the royals work very hard, don't have a luxurious life style, are wealthy because they deserve it, have done much more for the country than any politician, and people who criticize the Queen are just plain stupid idiots who know nothing about the crown. When I read Prince "let me say something stupid" was about to retire, I thought, retire from what?
Retire from what ? I don't see President Trump hanging around in his nineties wearing a full dress uniform waiting to be presented to people. At least he wears a more comfortable suit and only has just a few years to mess up the planet which no doubt our heir to the throne The Green Prince just like his dad will have a few subtle comments to make.
