Ha ha....the Fed is no bigger then it has been for over 50years.
This, while the population has grown significantly.
In general, the number of federal employees per capita has been DECREASING for decades.

    Here is the fact.
Since the mid-1990s, the number of employees of the federal government has remained less than 4.5 million, a significantly lower number than for the three decades before that.

So, along with the wish list, exactly which parts of government should be pruned down ? The military or the people making out SS and Medicare checks ?

    Haha
Trump has a plethora of incompetence. People die with every bone head move he makes. He has no money and is drowning the country in debt created by the power hungry gop which is an apartheid style political party. Power to the top ruling class...

Was the "ha ha" to signal that you were about to post a complete distortion or falsehood? Not surprised at that, have read your posts. 1. Using the "Fed" as federal government at large instead of the Federal Reserve is confusing and erroneous. Don't do it... or do and brand yourself as... well... 2. Federal contracting growth rate, the primary method of federal government growth for decades, is huge, so huge that no one has been able to count the actual number of federal contractors, best Democrats estimates are 30-50 million contractors, not all full time. Best estimates of growth is 500%-1500% since Reagan.

Attempting to falsely limit federal government employees as the whole of the federal government by excluding tens of millions of government contractors and millions more of federal grantees is a transparent lie frequently engaged by the gov-edu-union-contractor-grantee-trial lawyer-MSM Complex. Don't buy it folks. THE SIZE OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS BEEN GROWING BY LEAPS AND BOUNDS FOR DECADES.

    https://www.pogo.org/analysis/2017/10/contractors-and-true-size-of-government/

Note the study above does -not- include the tens of millions of "private" companies who do significant government contract work (defense contractors for one huge example), only those who do 100% of their work for government, and that STILL results in a federal government TWICE as large as Complex liars claim.

First sentence is a red herring, especially in light of the fact that federal government functions are mostly ADMINISTRATIVE. In other words it's lots of paper shuffling and recordkeeping moreso than physical labor intensive. As such it's actually the case that economies of scale and the computer/internet boom should have MASSIVELY reduced the number of federal employees, directly employed or contract, by >90% or so over the last 40 or so years... YET HAVE NOT. While private sector companies have been drastically down-sized in administrative, record keeping, etc. over the years, surprise, surprise, the WELFARE STATE JOBS PROGRAM of federal employment has NOT.

Better luck next time, or better yet, don't bother.

Oh, now you’re counting federal contractors ?
    Ha ha
Do we suggest the feds make their own computers, weapons and mouth wash ? Facts are stubborn things. You’re wrong.
Maybe we should just have the Fed farm out everything to China. We’ve already farmed out the admin to Russia.

nope, your dentist farms out his equipment, they are not his employees.

Knew you would answer dishonestly and not responsively. Again, have read your posts.

Remember folks, ALWAYS have a WRITTEN RECORD of ANY discussion attempted with a Leftist. Completely waste of time otherwise.

It has maintained that by shunting more and more of the administration burden of programs to the states and reducing the size of the military.

So, we should think it’s federal over reach contracting 30 testing facilities for millions of testing for cov19 ?
Nope, that’s what the govt does to keep you alive. The facilities are not part of the Fed. What other contract services should they eliminate ? They are not full time employees.

really ? Why has he upped the deficit by a trillion ? The Fed is spending much more money and expenses are becoming much bigger under trump..
So what ? Blue states can pay more of the freight to red states with lower tax base ? Ha ha

Going more to private health insurance and over military expenses is killing the budget. It still has nothing to do with Fed employees.

And yet, we would still prefer to put up with all of President Trump's imperfections rather than have your perfections imposed upon us by force of law.

That is precisely how the Medicare for all people get away with ballyhooing about Medicare's administrative costs are only 6%. Much of their contractor force, which is enormous, gets stowed away in other budgets.

Thread after thread with all the stark differences in opinion begs the same question.....

How does the nation go forward with the fact that the nation is strongly divided in ideology?
The Left with it's media is basically waging war against the Right while the Right spends most of it's energy and resources fighting against the Left's attacks. Little gets done for the nation.
One side wants to totally transform America into a Global community stripped of it's founding principles and based on government control of resources and means of production
while the other half demands it remain the same Constitutional Republic with free markets and privatization the founders created.

The net effect is a weaker nation with less for all, and more vulnerable to foreign interests.

Or is the US facing a Domestic threat it has not yet even fully comprehended?

"A nation divided against itself cannot stand"

Re-brand all that crap to the democrats and liberals- because that's where it belongs. I have no doubt they under the facade you show here, you know it that's true, but the attitude is designed to protect the perpetrators until it's too late for us all.

It's the ideology of the left, hijacking the dem party too, and it's been exposed. Fact is, we all know it.

with the exceptions of the media outlets he controlled...obama treated the press with complete contempt.

it’s refreshing to have a president that wants to be so transparent

Well said, by you and Abe. Unfortunately the reality is as you describe. If there are strong internecine battles and animosities within a group, that group's success and effectiveness is greatly diminished. If the Super Bowl champions experience adamant factional battling between two or more groups, you can bet your bottom dollar that team will not make the playoffs next year, let alone go to or win the super bowl. The only question, which there are limited resources to answer or fix, is will the faction animosity die and go away for some reason before the group dies and goes away. I think we are approaching around a 20% to 25% chance that the country will lose out. The attacking faction is strong, focused and dedicated to overthrowing the president and gaining political power any way they can and without regard to any secondary fallout, which could even mean the destruction of the US of A.

That’s your story. I know I believe in science. Your ability to recognize the truth is tied to your beliefs in science or not. Well, do you ?

    Agreed.
But I don't think it's just the current President they're after. it's Christianity, free markets, free speech, 2nd amendment and more they're after.
Sometimes I feels as though the Conservative / Right wing of America should be actively fighting a raging battle against the takeover of it's country,
but they refuse to acknowledge what's happening, don't see it or are waiting for God will take care of it for them?

No doubt, the lack of action will ultimately lead to a very bad place where it will be too late to then "wake up".
They're tightening the noose incrementally, but the victims refuse to feel the pressure.
I can't explain or understand it.

Gee, I didn’t read anywhere that science plays a key role in survival and quality of life. It wasn’t Christianity that doubled your life expectancy the last two centuries. Oh, it was the second amendment.

Actively fighting ? Enlist then. I would promote peaceful means like getting every citizen involved in the electoral process. But that’s me. I don’t believe in violence among our citizens.

They aren’t down sizing . The private sector has been shipping jobs overseas and using robotics here and overseas as well. Only the govt has tried to use domestic contracted labor and material. While the number of employees for the govt has remained constant, the contracted and sub contracted labor and parts for private enterprise has gone to foreign markets. Don’t tell me that enterprise puts American workers first.
