Team Mueller is pushing back against Barr in a very substantial and daunting way.

The House Ways and Means Committee has requested 6 years worth of Don's tax returns. His personal and business returns.

The guy who was in charge of the office who granted Jared's security clearance, despite career officials rejecting it, has been subpoenaed to explain why.

If Don couldn't remember where his Dad was born before, imagine what he'll forget now that the Dems are exercising their oversight authority...........and Barr's ruse begins to fall apart.

 

Meanwhile the economy is humming and wages are increasing. Good luck with those tax returns if you ever get them. He's been audited many times and thus far has never been accused of anything criminal.

As the debt all around us climbs with record high auto loan delinquencies and the same thing with student loans.Corporate debt is also at an all time high.40% of working Americans earn less than $15 per hour and most of them have no fringe benefits.The USA was a far better country to live in prior to 1980,especially for working Americas rank and file employees.

They can request all they like, but any subpoenas of his tax returns would have to go through the IRS, and it would be illegal to hand private information over to anybody, even Congress.

Sorry, but it's just not going to happen.

 

What ruse? A logical decision based on the evidence? Good luck with everything else but you've had 3 years of tilting at windmills and come up with nothing that sticks so far.

 

Not to mention that the IRS is already auditing him so they'd be like, "what....you don't think we can do our job"?

You have perfectly explained the purpose of Barr's inaccurate summation. He wanted to establish a false narrative in the mind's of anyone willing to accept it.

What is to come in the weeks ahead is going to reveal why Don and his right wing media lackeys spent so much time smearing Mueller's team. They were preparing for a time like this when unflattering details about the activities Team Trump engaged in, as reported by Mueller, made it in to the public realm. Those lies about the "15 angry Dems" are going to come in very handy.

As for the tax returns, the IRS has never denied a request from an authorized entity like Ways and Means in history. They have no standing to deny one now.

Besides, the unifying claim Don has made through all of this is he did nothing wrong and has nothing to hide. If that's true he should have no problem with his taxes being examined. It's also worth noting he has the authority to have the Mueller report released, virtually in its entirety if he wanted to.......................but he doesn't..................despite recently saying he'd be fine with the report being released. Just like he said he'd release his taxes. What a master conman he is.

 

Democrats donors whining and crying that their work or attempt at a fraudulent conviction failed why would anyone expect anything else?

 

All that remains of team Mueller is the comedy duo seen here doing the Russiagate shuffle, and neither has been interviewed by NYT variety section writers.

 

Team Mueller, but not Mueller. It would be surprising, if there were not some who disagree with Mueller. Some look at the evidence and consider it conclusive and some will not. However, Mueller is the person in charge who makes that final recommendation. You either put your faith in Mueller or you do not.

 

This is a matter of people involved in the investigation feeling Barr did not accurately characterize the Mueller report, and did it in a way that favored Don.

As many of us have said since Barr's letter was released, we need to see the report before reaching any conclusions. Trumpette's, understandably, are sticking with Barr's apparent duplicity. I get it, just don't expect the majority of us to do likewise.

 

People involved in the investigation.. Not Team Mueller and not Mueller. Why be misleading except to deceive?

 

Trumpette's do remember that Barr works for the American people, not Don..........right?

That's funny. Democrats hate their own people. Total hatred for genuine Americans and love for illegal immigrants.

 

You don't think Mueller would have spoke up? You have a number of Mueller's team who talked to the NY Times. Could have been anywhere from one and up. And you call it Team Mueller. "Team Mueller" is an attempt to make it look like a majority of the group. Stuff like that is why you have no credibility.

 

I don't know what Mueller is thinking and neither do you. You folks have a curious habit of making assumptions about things out of ignorance of the facts any time it suits your needs.

 

After 2 1/2 years, I'm sure that since Mueller found Manafords tax issues he would have found Trump's if he had any. If Dems who demanded Mueller have all the time he needs to investigate, why can't they wait a week or two for Barr to release the report? Seems they just can't stop whining and crying, every day they need something to bitch about in order to deflect attention from the crimes of Democrats.

 

"How many times" to meet my personal satifaction? You'll need to keep repeating it until collusion or obstruction is proven. I'm not frustrated in the least. I enjoy reminding Trump haters how pointless their dogged pusuit of imaginary conspiracies has been. Mueller's leaker hasn't provided anything except more false hopes for the NYT cultist worshippers.

It is this exact concern that I have noted since Barr wrote his deceitful letter...............and exactly why he wrote it.

 

It will be interesting to find out if Mueller has anything to say about the financial side of things. We should already know by now.
