Before the Civil War, citizenship was determined by the state that you lived in and there were no, "Federal," passports.
So to throw out another historical revision about, "states rights," as being the problem is opposite of what is potentially negatively influencing voting integrity.

In other words, California is not all of a sudden going to clean up a voter registration loophole that allows for illegals to register to vote by using only 4 digits of a 9 digit social security number which results in an unverifiable registration.

There is no 'second place' and there isn't any 'almost won'. Whether you lost 20-0 or 1-0, you still lost. Dems poured a lot of money into that race - and lost. I think you were predicting a win in the OP but you lost. And the Dems still don't have a message, a plan or a strategy other than name calling and rioting, and that ain't working. Same old senile leaders.

I've been around since Carter and can only remember 1 of these, but even Reagan had his faults.

Name one thing that minority voters need that white voters don't need in order to get an ID.

Until you can, you can just admit this entire premise is just your bigoted attempt to say that minorities are not capable of these tasks and that you believe things like voting need to be made easier for them.

So, you are saying if there were federal standards for elections, this would not stop states from doing what they want?

I find that logic to be.... amusing.

And now to your unfounded argument the CA is allowing illegal immigrants to register to vote by using only 4 digits of a 9 digit social security number .... hmmmm, would love to see your evidence for that whopper. Please, feel free to enlighten me. Many states only use the last 4 digits because it speeds up the search. BTW, for the online registration, a person must also give his DL number or his CA ident card number.

I just love it when people tell whoppers. This is fun.

I have a very simple idea for you. Lots of Latinos and Asians are US citizens and they look VERY SIMILAR to people we often call illegal immigrants. So, people who are looking for a way to claim voter fraud see US-Latinos voting and are just oh soooo sure than an "illegal" just voted.

    LOL LOL frigging LOL

But in one point I would hope we could agree: there should never be any voter fraud at all and national standards should apply. Because national elections should have national standards and the is absolutely NOTHING in the environment, nature or nuture of an Arkansan, for instance, in contrast to a Hoosier, that should call for them to have different standards for voting. It's really quite simple. Especially since the basics are indeed rooted in our US Constitution, but the nuts-a-bolts are not.

NO. In this OP, I simply put the data out there.
Go look at the first posting yourself. Feel free to put on your glasses if that helps.
But feel free to think whatever you want to think.
I never get in the way between a person and his own silliness.

In another thread, I indicated that at that time, Ossoff was ahead. Please check out the DATE of that OP.

Really, discernment is a thing that people can learn.

I agree with you that there is no second place, but I guarantee you that GOP statisticians are looking at this electoral data every bit as hard as DEM statisticians, for the electoral sand of our great Republic is constantly shifting. Think about it.
