The George Floyd Murder Protests: Lets be clear about what is really going on.

Worse yet for both the protestors and rioters; all of this was in motion BEFORE any of the protests and riots started; and the media outlets egging them on KNEW that the justice system was already in motion.

 

That all black people are suffering from racism to the point that they have to constantly be worried about being unfairly killed by police, or unfairly harmed in some way be it emotionally, or physically by white people.

Also, I read your OP and my posts stand. Perhaps it is YOU who needs to think about it. You can't get away with decades of all your anecdotes showing black people being victimized, when again....it happens more often in the reverse (IE blacks victimizing whites) and think that people aren't going to become emotional and violent just as soon as you have a catalyst like this officer murdering floyd.

 

It feels like the outrage of the moment is defeating common sense in this country and thus everyone is being pulled down by emotionalism instead of facts.

 

If you don't understand the purpose of the protests - if you think they are only about Floyd - then I can't help you. And likely, if I tried, you wouldn't believe me or understand.

 

We live in an age of a willful lack of reason. Where despite the availability of statistics demonstrating where the real issues the black community faces are, people emotionally cling to the false narratives of racism being a prevalent force. Even some here are under the impression that statistics are not as important as anecdotes. With a political party that thrives on taking advantage of this ignorance and anger, and having a MSM serve that party so faithfully it doesn't seem to matter what the facts say...when you can just take an anecdote and run it 24/7...people lose their minds.

But I stand by my stance that black people are waking up to the realities of the world around them, and in larger numbers seeing past the lies of the MSM and dems. It wont happen overnight as emotions are to high right now. But I believe in the next couple decades enough will realize this that it will no longer be beneficial for dems/MSM to lie about this.

 

These aren't protests, they are riots.

We know its not only about floyd, its about false narratives of racism being the controlling factor of black peoples lives.

The rioters are just useful idiots to the left.

 

Not only do I not know what news sources YOU use, but I have no idea who white people are that are getting beat up, or by who. But yes, white supremacists are not going to beat on whitey
