The George Floyd Murder Protests: Lets be clear about what is really going on.

I think the main purpose of protesting is to provide cover for rioting and looting. At the very least, that's all it accomplishes. I could never muster enough "white guilt " to attend a protest.

 

Racism is poisoning the country and one of the reasons my wife and I like spending time in Canada where they've made a conscious effort to cut down on the stupidity.

We can't even get through a pandemic with a race blowup. Now we have covidiots overjoyed at the thought the protests will undermine efforts to contain COVID-19. They actually think people are dying to go to the mall. They aren't.



Meanwhile, New Zealand just announced all internal virus control are done. British Columbia is continuing to open up because the "curve" has been flattened.



Australia is opening, too.



Why do we have to continue killing Americans? Why can't we control SARS-CoV-2? Why are our leaders wrecking the economy by letting COVID-19 run amok because some types are whining about their "rights?"

But of course there are peaceful protesters aplenty, and I would stand together with them if not for the many happy rioters-looters-vandals of which there are many among peaceful protesters.

 

Where are you getting that nonsense from? Cover for rioting? Only a small percentage are rioting. There was a police riot in Lafayette Park in DC. Did you catch that story

This has nothing to do with white guilt. It's about holding the police accountable. It's about the fact that many white people are willing to say that black lives matter knowing that too many others act like they don't matter, and because they are smart enough to understand that to "say black lives matter' does not mean that others lives do not matter.

 

Nah, place would have been picked clean. The few people looting and destroying should be arrested and prosecuted. Most of the people are protesting racism in this society.

Wanna know how to do it? After Vancouver had senseless riots following the Canucks losing the Stanley Cup, the police spent $10m going over every video they could find and tirelessly running down leads to find and prosecute the perps. Complaints about spending the money met with a tidal wave of people demanding the police keep at it.

You don't have to feel guilty to oppose racist BS. Sheesh.

The police chief of St. Paul, a white guy, told Poppy What'sHerName on CNN we have to solve the poverty problem that causes black people to "intersect" with criminal justice system. Sailed right over her head. She then asked about the talk white moms and dads should give their kids. What are they going to say? "Don't be racist like your parents..." Egads. The police chief said something really important and brainless Poppy can only ask a stupid question.

 

That would be simple to do if there weren't thousands of others running cover for them.

 

Saying "black lives matter" merely restates the segregation Democrats worked so hard to maintain. Racial Division. If "all lives matter"....say that instead!

 

I guess all those buildings with busted out windows that were burned down and looted and even the people killed the that was just a spontaneous right.

The protest the peaceful part of it at least was a valiant effort but it's lost.

 

Let me tell you something. I am white and I have been on earth for 72 ****ing years! Years that I can say were spent advocating for civil rights and racial justice. I don't have a *******ned reason to feel guilty. I am aware of white privilege but that is not the same thing.

As far as what protesting accomplishes, I'm not even going to waste my time trying to explain it to you because if you really don't know, it's because you don't want to know.

 

There are exponentially more whites killed by blacks than there are blacks killed by cops.

Blacks and the media don’t give a rat’s ass about those whites who were murdered. When they start to care, I’ll care about blacks killed by cops.

And I did say all lives matter, and explained why it is necessary and appropriate to ALSO say black lives matter. Pay attention

 

Interestingly you failed to address several points made to you.
i) You made false claims and posted slander in your opening post which you were invited to support, and you have not. I invite you to retract your claims.

ii) It is well-known to all that the insurrectionists are of the Left, not the Right. You were given concrete examples of this and given opportunity to support your claim that it is the "right" fomenting this chaos, and you have laid an egg.

If you won't bother to support your own claims, clearly no one else is obligated to regard them as true.

 

You just claimed that, and yet included none of the support you refer to.

 

So you endorse cops murdering blacks because some blacks murder whites, even if they are not the same blacks who committed those murders? Seriously. My ****ing GOD!

I don’t condone cops killing blacks. I never said that.

We shouldn’t go through a national convulsion over what happened in Minnesota. It’s totally out of proportion. What about the thousands of blacks killed by blacks in Chicago? Or the Americans killed by illegal aliens? Or the whites killed by blacks?

Why is there no outrage there? We’re only supposed to care about blacks killed by cops? I’m not buying it.

 

You're making stuff up. No one is covering for the looting and burning.

If you want to criticize protesters, you point out they're contributing to the COVID-19 death toll. They're joining arms with Trumpers calling for reopening businesses in the middle of a pandemic that has already killed 100,000 Americans.

Anything to take attention from Trump's handling of the virus...
