Why not? It’s a FICTIONAL character. It can be any color. You know…because it’s FICTIONAL.
The question is, why does it bother you that the FICTIONAL character is black?

Because that fictional character has never been black before in it's 200; year history. Leave things alone no problem keep jacking with everything big problem. Haven’t seen Black Adam yet, and I was hoping it was at least decent since DC movies have been very hit or miss lately and The Rock was super pumped about this project.

 

Theyre black because that’s how the creators in the comics intended them to be. Blade has always been a black vampire since he debuted in the 70s and Wesley Snipes did a fine job portraying him the 90s movies

Black Panthers entire character and origin involves being a black African king, so this doesn’t work there I’m afraid

 

You weren’t going to see the movie anyway so why should you care?

 

Activist can allege whatever they want but the reality is the reason Hollywood hits are mostly white is because foreign box office receipts for movies with black leads almost always suck and Hollywood is all about the money. Has little to do with this movie or what it did or did not do.
