What happened in the Senate was a tacit admission that there was no exculpatory evidence or witnesses. Had there been even one the defense would have produced it in a heartbeat. That there was none at all means that the prosecution's evidence was irrefutable.

I can't disagree with that. And even more to the point, the criminal-in-chief kept screaming no due process but he was given every opportunity and invited to present exculpatory evidence and witness testimony. He could have done that both during the House impeachment process and the Senate trial. He could have produced his "perfect" transcript with as few redactions as possible to prove how "perfect" it was. He did none of that yet whined no due process and hoax. There is only one reason to coverup the evidence, it's to protect the criminal(s).

One might argue that what he did was not abuse of power, which would be an incredible stretch and it was. The primary argument was that he could do anything he wants if he alone "believed" it was in the best interest of the nation. Which of course IS clear abuse of power anyway. However, the Senate majority voted against obstruction despite the overwhelming and indisputable evidence that he did in fact obstruct the House impeachment investigation. So by that irrational piece of logic, if the President could do anything he wants, he could also obstruct Congress and there is absolutely no limit to what crimes he could commit merely on "belief".

The President was invited by the House to produce witnesses and any other evidence, he did nothing. He also had the same opportunity in the Senate. He did nothing.

....without the ability to cross examine witnesses and get witnesses of his choice. I'd have told em to **** off too.
Freakin lazy amateurs. Couldn't even get their witnesses for trial, and got their asses handed to them by the senate
