Helen Wambach Ph. D. did a fascinating study on volunteers who were hypnotized in which they reported having some sort of higher dimensional consciousness that existed before birth. This consciousness came into the foetus at or near birth!!!!!!

Kevin Williams is one of the most off the scale brilliant intellects that I have ever had the privilege to read tons of web pages by and he is personally pro-choice due to his research on NDE accounts:

    http://near-death.com/atwater/column/archives/2005/2005_11.html

On the other hand.....I must advocate caution on this issue due to the implications of what was shown to Christian Andreason during his NDE regarding his over -soul?????!!!!

Christian Andreason was shown that our Creator always views us as our real us....the Man/Woman on the Throne...that is within each of us!

My conclusion is that it is probably this higher level aspect of our soul that endures a first trimester abortion!!!!!!

I think you're missing something. With soul transmigration, I don't really see why abortion matters.

But then, I didn't give a damn in the first place.

    Good question Burz!!!

I guess the whole thing comes down to the case that can be presented that we human may have an obligation to love and appreciate our Creator/creator as much as we expect our computers to do what we want them to do?????!!!

Planning and orchestrating an infinite number of Big Bang events over infinite time in the past.....could indicate a Creator that is extremely emotionally involved in our lives....due to the astonishing amount of effort over time that went into inventing us???!!!

What Mellen Benedict describes fits amazingly well with a chapter in Stephen Hawking's Universe entitled The Anthropic Principle!

There is no abstract creator. It should also be quite evident that a lot is permitted in the world. You are also not very good with English.

This really belongs in the religion section, but I never visit that.

On the other hand if intelligence and consciousness originated in fundamental or nearly fundamental energy....there is logic in the idea that a Creator who may have planned and choreographed an infinite number of Big Bang events previous to our Big Bang would tend perhaps to become emotionally involved with the creation....us!!!!!!!

You are correct....I am lousy at grammar and spelling!!!

You are right that this could be written up in a way that would fit with religion and philosophy....but our opinions of religion and philosophy affect how we view political questions. If Christians regarded God as perhaps being the most emotionally connected being in the universe....they would try harder to make life easier for God....which would mean doing much more to assist the poor....which could transform the world into a place where many women no longer feel like they are in a Masada like predicament when they first find out they are pregnant!!!??

This of course would tend to decrease the percentage of women deciding to have abortions!

North American churches should each have their own currency!

I am of the belief that each large church in North America should discuss the printing up of their own church currency unit such as has been done by a group of socially active citizens in Calgary, Canada with their CalgaryDollars.ca

Here is a good article on how important local currencies were during the Great Depression:

Surely everybody who reads this article would agree that we have many advantages over the people who lived in Worgl, Austria during the Great Depression?!

If they can do it....why can't we?

Here in Canada the only problem that we have to watch out for is that we must pay the same rate of taxation if we earn Calgary Dollars as if we had earned Canadian dollars....so we have to keep our level of bartering at the point where our tax bill doesn't get to high.....but if we volunteered our time and our church earned a local currency from another church....it could be amazing where this could lead!

Fundamental energy Mom and Dad would almost certainly evolve in two forms.....one generally feminine.....one more masculine!

After his near death experience Mr. Christian Andreason reports that he feels that God the Mother is identifiable with The Holy Spirit of Christian theology!

There are people here you can empathize with, there is no need to empathize with god.

Good point! Empathizing with each other is one of the truly big lessons in life!

When the Gay Community and New Agers succeed in convincing the rest of us that the Dr. Ian Stevenson and Helen Wambach research explains how they were "born that way" then human to human empathy will surge to a whole new height never attained in the past!!!

    http://www.politicalforum.com/relig...essage-gods-has-many-plans-gay-community.html

NDE message that God's has many plans for the Gay Community???

When I first read the following message I was rather puzzled!

It took me about five years to begin to understand some of the specific plans that God obviously has for the Gay Community at this critical time in history!

Dr. Ian Stevenson devoted decades to researching the cases of children who had memories of past lives. What he found out about birthmarks or moles corresponding with wounds received in a past life were pretty convincing!

What do you think of the idea of sixty percent of women who had an abortion claiming that they were pressured into it by boyfriends, husbands or other family members?

Based on statistics, far more than fifty percent of the babies that are killed, even after surviving an abortion, by doctors who operate like Dr. Gosnell are girls!

I posted a reply to this article!

Let's imagine that you are Dr. Burz M. D. and a couple has came into your abortion clinic. You let the couple know that the foetus is a girl....and the husband cannot contain his disappointment. A few days later the mother comes in and asks for an abortion.....but you are 98% certain that she has been pressured into this decision and her words requesting the procedure were probably put into her mouth by her husband and other family members. Do you feel that you as a physician should have legal protection from any form of law suit by your patient if you refuse to perform the abortion under those circumstances?

The atheists will say, "There'z no such thingz as a soul!!!! We're all just meats!!! So there'z nothing wrong with aborshun!!! .........even though it's still wrong to kill for some reason." :confusion:

Yeah, I don't get it either. It's completely arbitrary.

Sure. I'm not pressuring people to have abortions, the conservatives are pressuring people not to, and unlike them I am in favour of more support for parents, or for children whose parents don't want them.

I am of the opinion that Rabbi Jesus/Yehoshua may have been in basic agreement with the judgment call by the Machabees that it was OK to fight back and even take the lives of Greco-Syrians soldiers who attacked their villages on the Sabbath!!!!

I believe that although these Jewish soldiers killed Greco-Syrian soldiers, this was not murder and the commandment should actually be translated "thou shalt do no murder" rather "than thou shall not kill."

Also....it seems that it is permissible on the Sabbath, to technically violate the Sabbath in order to save the lives of your family and fellow Jews!

Mark 3:4 "And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace."

    http://www.drbo.org/chapter/45002.htm
To a degree.....when a woman decides to have an abortion it is somewhat similar to the Jewish rebels at Masada who committed suicide rather than be taken as slaves and/or crucified.....

Women feel that having their baby can put them into a situation of near slavery in our society and economy. Whether or not they are correct or not is between them and God.....I cannot judge them for their decision....but I am responsible to make sure that people are more fully informed of all the evidence that I believe relates to this topic!

I agree. It is theoretically possible to transform our economies and make them vastly more compassionate!?
