Aside from Hemps use for fibers and oil, hemp is also great food.

Cannabis is also enjoyed culturally throughout the U.S. (and the World) similar to how Wine, Beer and Whiskey are.

Any great hemp recipees? Any insight on Cannabis cultivation, legislation, or culture?

I like to mix hemp protein powder into both my smoothies and my refried beans (both are recipees from my Vegan days).

Vegan Hemp Refried Beans: Cook your refried beans in a pot, add Hemp protein powder and oil/hot sauce to maintain texture.

Vegan Hemp Smoothie: I first blend a banana, frozen fruit, peanut butter and almond milk. I then add hemp protein powder and any other health powders I got (maca is great!). Sometimes I add to cocao powder as well.

There are currently 3 bills in Congress, one to legalize Industry Hemp introduced by the two Republican Senators from Kentucky. There is a bill that allows for States to legalize Medical Marijuana, and another to end Federal Marijuana Prohibition.

I feel like any of these would be great steps, but that full legalization is nessassary to drastically reduce the issues associated with the drug trade.

    How feel you?

I wish folks who want to legalize pot, as I certainly do, would just say it makes no sense to have a substance that does not appear to be more harmful than alcohol be illegal.

The money we have wasted in the war against weed, along with the countless crimes being committed simply because someone decided long ago that weed should be illegal is a farce.

That being said, i also wish that folks would stop thinking weed has all of this magical properties and will save the world.

I'm against it. I never smoked regular cigarettes....which I consider nasty and bad for the lungs and health in general, so why in the world would I support marijuana? And don't kid yourself; it's not harmless. I sat on a Grand Jury a couple years ago and we learned alot from the NARC's....about the dangers of this drug. And I think Medical Marijuana is a joke by people who want a license to use an otherwise illegal substance by bringing it in the back door.
