Sure they have. No one receives any kind of Govt benefits for more than a few months, right?

Exactlly, A GROUP of VERY SPECIFIC people, but not interchangeable with people. All families are made of people but not all people are in families

Families are small corporations, working together towards a shared goal (whatever that is in any given family). They consist of PEOPLE who have volunteered to join forces and work together. Even your children, once emancipated, will necessarily work in the 'family corporation' if they elect to stay in it.

 

Welfare is limited to 5 years. Not all government benefits are welfare.

Families are not generally corporations, they more resemble partnerships and most are actually sole proprietorships

 

Both believe in the freedom to voluntarily live however we see fit, and both believe in the necessity of pulling one's weight.

 

I didn't say there were corporations in the business sense. They are a group of people agreeing to work together towards a common goal. That is more a cooperative than a corporation, but both are comprised of people agreeing to work for a specific outcome.

But I would beg to differ on the sole proprietorship thing. In many parts of the world, multiple generations live together and share labor and resources according to the general needs of the household and of the property. All are 'equal partners', if you will.

 

So does capitalism.

These people (Cafe Socialists) are seeking something which doesn't exist outside of childhood fantasy.

 

You can be an example of white privilege. You are also an example of "white guilt". You feel it puts you on some higher moral plain. Tell me, did you own slaves? What have you done that makes you so guilty? You can give all your money to Al Sharpton for all I care.

He's one of the people whose job is to fabricate most of the fake talking points that you have repeated here. He has a huge echo-chamber which goes from talk radio to Fox News to bloggers, to this forum and to fake-news websites. He pre-packages the talking points in a way that are easily deliverable by anybody so they don't have to think. But, at the same time, it requires those who repeat them to check logic and human reason at the door before entering.

Why would Americans complain about poor foreign nationals? And what on earth do American social services have to do with foreign nationals? You're making no sense.
