I am not a Democrat. I voted for Governors Johnson and Weld who are both Republicans. Also, my post did not mention anything about race. What are you babbling about? It might help to read a post before responding in the future.

 

Funny but I do not recall them reforming. And My birth year is 1938. What happened is that FDR opened the racists eyes that they can collect from the Feds and make up excuses for it.

We do get called the nasty names by Democrats but they do it to assuage their own guilt. When I understood this, i switched from Democrat to Republican. Try it. You might enjoy life much more.

in my case, i spent decades covered by their BS. I voted for them. I screwed up and actually studied both parties. I had to do a reverse to my thinking. i was wrong as a Democrat. I left but they keep being wrong.

When i learned the truth, i got super angry at Democrats. For lying to me for decades.

Lincoln believed in equality. Today’s Democrats do not believe in equality. They believe groups should be treated differently based on race, sex, orientation, religion, etc... Democrats would not vote for Lincoln.

Presidential involvement in the civil rights movement began with Pres. Kennedy, and Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Your implication that Republicans are the strongest advocates for minorities is unsupported propaganda.

You revealed your own bias in your own thread in which you criticized Lincoln for the problems caused by his Emancipation Proclamation, saying he would have done more good going to war with Canada.

 

Never said that however the south does have a rich history of child molesting and marrying 12 year olds. I did not say anything about race.

 

On the contrary; Democrats believe that groups should not be discriminated against because of their differences. Republicans advocate "My way or the highway".

 

The South, formerly occupied by Democratic slaveholders, is now predominantly Republican. Kennedy and Johnson initiated the civil rights movement, and Democrats elected the first black President. Republicans are simply in denial of their racial bias.

That's complete BS. A greater percentage of Republicans who actually did initiate the civil rights legislative efforts voted for the civil rights bill than Democrats. Johnson was a big a racist as the US has ever known. Kennedy and Johnson had nothing to do with starting the civil rights movement. A Republican (Barry Goldwater) was the first elected official to integrate a military organization (AZ national guard).

Your statement that the Republican Party is racially biased is absurd. It is the Democratic Party which is the party of racism via it's platform of identity politics and claim that minorities cannot succeed without the Democratic Party - that's racism in it's most ugly form.
