At this point it's obvious Mueller is just fishing. The jig is up for him and he needs to be fired.

The only jig that is up.....is Mueller's Team leaking to the Press. That should have never happened. That's a big no no. [IMG]

Trump is a poor little rich boy. A schmuck for Queens who inherited his father's money and has been trying to buy, brag or bully his way into respectability ever since.

He has the mind of a spoiled eleven year old. A narisstic sociopath, with no loyalty, scruples, or integrity.

Or perhaps it is because Donald Trump is unfit by virtue of character (or lack of it), scruples (or lack of it), experience (or lack of it) or integrity (or lack of it) to hold ANY position of public trust whatsoever.

That was then and this is now!

Your beloved BLOTUS has spent a lot of time with lawyers explaining to him the facts of life and that is why he is coming to realize just how big the pile of **** is that he is being buried under. All of his own making but that is besides the point.

Your BLOTUS has past the point of denial and is now looking for the exit. His problem is that he cannot pardon himself and if he tries to pardon his entire criminal clan there will be a massive popular demand for his immediate impeachment.

He is in a no-win situation and the best that he can hope for is to strike a deal that will sacrifice some members of his criminal clan in order to save himself and a few others. I suspect that deal will include resigning in disgrace and forfeiting his ill-gotten gains.

Indeed. Trump has more skeletons and half-rotting corpses in his closet than Arlington cemetery.
His business dealings are what will probably do him in. He's terrified of Mueller looking into his business finances.
    Interesting times, eh?

Nope. Just being fair. If one side expects to get away with murder, they can't logically expect the other side to bend over to their whims, especially when there isn't any ACTUAL proof of wrong doing, right? Maybe Trump could erase history, fake an illness or a "concussion" or simply ask everyone to take plead the 5th=) It works for Democrats.

That perfectly sums up Trump. And he's done it by skirting or breaking the law repeatedly, which is why he's in a panic over Mueller.
I wonder if he'll call in his mentor Roy Cohn, the mob lawyer, to defend him when the **** hits the fan?

He should recuse himself. Heck, he should never have been allowed to be in this position. Will he do the right thing? Probably not, but we shall see.

Those entanglements existed when he took the job. Why would he be offered the job? Why would he accept the job? Why would he stack the investigation team with Hillary Clinton donors? No, this stinks on many levels.

Yup. That's a BIG no no.

You forgot to mention one little detail: Trump is President of the United States.

That's a decision for voters in each of the states in the union to make. Unfortunately for you, those voters disagree with the idea that Donald Trump is unfit, and have said so. Now what? You want to override the ballot cast by every person who voted for the man? You want to support having an open-ended investigation whose premise is "Trump needs to be kicked out of office, so we'll keep digging until we find something with which to get him"? That's not the way our justice system is designed to work. That's not the way our checks and balances are designed to work. That's not the United States of America that people know and love. That's wrong, and that needs to stop.

I wonder how long Obama would have held up under an open-ended investigation operating under the idea that Obama has done something wrong, that all we have to do is find it. Again, that's not the way our justice system works.

Yes, but Nixon was accused of committing a crime. What crime has Trump been accused of committing? First collusion, then obstruction, and now? Sorry, that's not the way the system should work...

the case is still being investigated, so three are no formal charges yet

but, informally, trump is being accused of collusion and obstruction

it wasn't all that much different with nixon's case

Indeed, nothing like suppressing free speech on campuses and wherever else they can, rioting and disrupting peaceful political events, ignoring the will of the voters and trying to overturn the outcome of free and democrstic election... Damn republicans.
