The lamb that rules like a lion is not one who presents himself as a lamb at one time and as a lion at another.

The lamb who rules like a lion is a lamb that does, like a lamb, what was believed only a lion could do, like a lion.

The Jews of Jerusalem, in Jesus' time, did not recognize him because they were expecting a lion, not a lamb. In their minds, God had already done all that he could, as a lamb, like a lamb, back with Abraham and Isaac. They seriously underestimated what can be done by a lamb, like a lamb.

Many Christians today look forward to Jesus' return as a lion, to rule like a lion. I think that they seriously underestimate what has been, is and will be done by the lamb, like a lamb. They are unable to see the kingdom of God on Earth because it has a completely voluntary nature. It is ruled by a lamb, like a lamb. They look forward to a coming kingdom that will be ruled by a lion, like a lion. They look forward to a kingdom that will be ruled with a iron scepter in Jerusalem. They look forward to the exact same thing that the Jews in Jerusalem, in Jesus' time, looked forward to. They are our Zealots.

The lamb that rules as a lion is not one who presents himself as a lamb at one time and as a lion at another. The lamb that rules as a lion is a lamb, that does like a lamb, what was believed could only be done by a lion, like a lion.

Jesus does not change. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He will not present himself as a lamb at one time and as a lion at another. A lion cannot do, like a lion, what can only be done by a lamb, like a lamb. Jesus isn't a lion in sheep's clothing, nor is he a lamb that turns into a lion. The Lamb of God is the Lion of Judah; he is the king of the jungle. He is the lamb that rules as a lion. You see, as it turns out, the lamb is the true king of the jungle not the lion.

No. I'm pretty sure Jesus was Tufted Grouse.

"The Lion of Judah", is a lionization. It is not descriptive of the lamb. It is descriptive of how the lamb is esteemed.
