I'm not sure we can thank Trump for this. It's the democrats who did this. If they had been able to come across as even slightly sane during the Kavanaugh hearings, there's a good chance that Kavanaugh would not have been confirmed.

He seems like your stock vanilla republican guy. The democrats gave him character by pointing out that he's a beer drinker, he doesn't take nonsense, and he went to high school parties back in the 80s where there was beer, music, and girls.

Any guy that throws an ice cube in a fit of rage at another guy is a guy. They gave him a depth of guyness that most SCOTUS judges just don't have, just as Trump is kinda like what a guy would do if he won the lottery. He'd marry a babe with big boobs, he'd buy a big fancy house and put his name on the front in lights, and he'd buy a golden toilet to go with his matching golden tub.

Then of course the Rednecks for Jesus march towards the congressional steps while the reverend Oral Roberts heads towards congress with his congregation in a fleet of buses all painted to look like American flags...

But we also knew he loved this country, that he was a business man and he knew how to get this country back on it's feet from the mess Obama left it in. He made us a lot of promises, like Obama did, but in just a year and a half Trump has kept most of his promises and has this country back where it should be. How can you argue with that? His finger prints will be over this country for decades to come, not only in bringing back manufacturing that Obama and Pelosi said were gone and not coming back, but in the judicial system. From the USSC to the many Federal judge ships he has appointed in record numbers. Constitutional lawyers who are young and will serve for decades. Yes, Trump is who America needed now. Thank God for him.
