The New York Times used a full page to print 'Trump's lies' since taking office

You can find the list here but unfortunately it is behind a paywall. But the Toronto Star also keeps a running tally, which is currently around 300 - and you can event sort it by topic. If you don't want to call them lies, then - at best - you can look at this list and think that Trump was merely a moron because he was not smart enough to do some simple research before making the statement.


I think my favorite is still his statement about the size of his inauguration - both because of the audacity of making a lie about something that people can see with their own ****ing eyes and the fact that the statement was made in front of a wall dedicated to fallen CIA heroes.

“Honestly, it looked like a million and a half people. Whatever it was it was, but it went all the way back to the Washington Monument.” Later: “…all the way back to the Washington Monument, was packed.”

The reason it is my favorite? Because we get to look at this side by side.

On that list there are several that prove the times is the one actually lying or the rest of the story is yet to be published. Here's one that jumped out, they say only 1 million are uninsured currently. That number is 100% BS, the government tracks this number, hell obama's gov't had it at ten, now their reporting 11 million and another 2 got off or lost obambacare last month alone.

 

Wonder why these pictures don't match the narrative, notice Trump actually speaking.

It is "very different" because it is from a different angle. An angle that allows the ones who want to believe the God Emperor above all others to not properly view the large areas where folks are missing.

 

Because of the amount of lies, the type of lies, and the impugnity with which he lies.

 

The picture on the right has been debunked. The one on the left was taken during Obama's swearing in, the picture on the right was not taken during Trump's swearing in. The press and media have been presenting fake and photoshopped pictures for a long time.

 

Fact is that Trump lies thru his teeth either deliberately as a method of political attack/defense, or thru his profound ignorance of the facts. His conman penchant for self promotion, his churlish emotional hypersensitivity, and seemingly insatiable need for aggrandizement (self or otherwise) creates the perfect storm.

Afterall, who knew how complicated healthcare could be?

Trump is scum, pure & simple, but this was not a secret. The demagogy of his birther base is the most dangerous and troubling aspect however.

 

You can zoom into that picture in great great detail, it is very obviously different than the picture widely publicized, and posted in your OP, as a fair comparison of the two. Clearly there is "intentional deception" by our media in publicizing that.

Regardless, I ask you, which is worse, Trump making braggadocios, but inaccurate claims about the size of his inauguration compared to Obama's, or the media intentionally lying to The People about it?

Nevermind, I know what your blind partisan answer will be, but I firmly believe that "lies of consequence" carry far more weight with The People, and they won't be fooled by those working to change the definition of what a lie is for no reason other than to try to delegitimize their political opposition.
