Bruce Ohr was the top prosecutor of Russian Mobsters under both Republican and Democratic regimes for over a decade. If certain members of Trumps inner circle were associating with Russian crooks like Felix Sater, naturally Bruce would report that information. It would be criminal NOT to report it.

 

Christopher Steele did not contact the FBI when we got his information from his four Russian contacts.

The major weakness in your argument is that although Steele may have used some Russian sources that doesn't mean he was colluding with Russians. That is a huge jump in logic.

 

And there's no proof that Trump was colluding with Russia either.

Gathering opposition research on your opponent is NOT illegal.

 

I have never claimed that there was any collusion. I think that gathering opposition research can be illegal. See Watergate break-in.
