So you think these costs really amount to $42,000 for an hour of treating a single person? Post a reasonable breakdown of these costs and show this is the case.

That is a fair response. However, the cost of even individual medical procedures cost far more in the US than in other developed nations. Its very clear that healthcare in the US is overpriced.

Yes, theres lots of people who are scammers. Theres also lots of people who dont want to be forced to pay for something they dont intend to use. The two groups may even have overlap. But generally equating one to the other is falacious.
I am past the OP's claim. You asked for evidence, and he refused to provide it. Case closed. I do think that healthcare is always going to be expensive but that healthcare in the US is most definitely way overpriced. For example, in the US hernia treatment costs about $5,500, often even going over $10,000, but in the UK, costs only about $2,800 on average.
Some developed countries suffer from long wait times for specialist care, others do not like Switzerland and Germany. For primary care, other developed nations have wait times that are actually shorter than the US and people spend more time in the hospital and see the doctor more than they do in the US. In addition, American often put off care for years, thanks to the high cost of prevatative care, which effectively mean that Americans do wait longer, even if they are on the waiting list shorter. Americans are far more likely to suffer from advanced and preventable disease.
