Lost in all the noise about Trump contesting the election results and purposely ignored by the media is the huge red wave in congress. Not only did republicans pick up a multitude of seats, women and minorities comprised the bulk of these victories.

"This week, Congress’s newly elected “Freshman class” will begin their orientation. Among them will be 16 conservative women who were elected this month, a record-setting election result that shocked many Americans. The mainstream media has gushed over Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, Ilhan Omar, and other liberal women. The unspoken message is that the Left is the rightful home for women in politics. This election exposed just how false that narrative is."

Trump got more of the white women's vote than he did last time. The Dems better understand this was not a great or even good election cycle for them.

Trump jumped from 8% black vote to 12%. Now if Candace Owens runs in 2024 that could jump from 12% to over 50%.

Cubans in Florida overwhelmingly supported Trump.

As I said in the other thread I am happy so many women ran.

Trump is doing his best to bring down the GOP with him.

There's some evidence Democrats' vote totals were hurt by COVID-19 because Democrats are more likely to be concerned about becoming infected.

Record votes were cast and it was a red wave. Media is ignoring this but it’s there to see.

Total nonsense. I've been in a lot of political fights over the years and there's absolutely no way Trump had widespread support. Consider how the public has viewed Trump's handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

There was no Trump landslide. He lost, fair and square.

Not according to the numbers, he picked up more white women, more blacks, more hispanics. Granted had he not been at the top it would have been a Rep blowout, but bring them down? Where exactly? And the midterm will be quite interesting.

You guys like to talk about the total nationwide turnout, he got more than anyone in history except Biden and had the MSM and polling not been so slanted and predicting blowouts in certain states stacking the cards against him it would have been higher. Don't for a second believe this was some mandate for Democrat policies.

Wait until the 2022 midterms under the Obiden-Kamalala administration. You think people will be tired of dictatorial governance by then ?

Minorities and women both like freedom, so no surprise more of them voted for Trump this time around.

But neither 'side' should be fooled- this country is still essentially split down the middle by a huge partisan divide with no meaningful majority. We're gonna have to figure out how to be socially responsible without being civilly oppressive or half the nation is eventually going to revolt.

You base your claim off a poll? I did not know polls were so accurate.

Partly, for the reason I said.
You're going to find voters are tired of the turmoil. When Biden shows moderates dominate the Democratic Party, it will difficult to sell them as "socialists."

Voters rejected Trump, as I predicted. How well Republicans do in the future will depend on them distancing themselves from Trump.

So now the GOP has 35 women in the House out of 197 GOP members, and 2 GOP women Senators out of 50 ...

    Yea?

It just sort of goes from crap representation to a little less crap representation.

If you take away illegals, illegal votes, fraud, data dumps and the votes that were taken from Trump then he had more votes then Biden. Plus some ballots were dumped before even getting to polling places.

There is no way Biden is more popular then Obama when he could not even get 10 people to a rally and the rage vote against Trump still would not have been enough.

Trump had Thousunds of people at every rally with alot of motivation. Nobody was excited about Biden.

Rs are now up to 18 women? So they represent about 15% of R's but are like 50% of population.
And the red wave lost an incumbent WH.

IOW, Republicans did better with the public than Trump.

We don't know what will happen post-Trump and post-pandemic.
