People are tired of being told how to live.. I like owning a truck and eating beef and i have the God given right to do those things. I do not care what anyone thinks about what that does to the planet. If that is anti science i don't care.. My Freedom is vastly more important than you're perception of what my actions do to the planet.
Science and all of it's theories and discoveries and evidence, etc. etc. etc. is an open-minded doctrine...a discipline...forever and always open to NEW INFORMATION and CHALLENGING ideas. However, criticism from outside of the science discipline is somewhat meaningless until that criticism is presented and processed within the science methodology. It's kind of like demanding everyone believe there is a Santa Claus...meaningless until the person can prove it in an acceptable methodology to be a fact...

That is the 'anti-science' that this thread is about.. the RELIGION of science, which is, in reality, anti-science or pseudoscience. Real science is a method.. a system of discovery, and does not employ bullying, censorship, jihadist zeal, and other tactics that we see regularly from the anti-science promoters. It is a MISUSE of true scientific methodology, and a hijacking of the term, 'science', for ideological and propaganda purposes.

This thread seems to fall into the category of seeking to find wriggle-room for ideas which don't fit into the accepted scientific framework; just because it suits the particular worldview, and probably a religoius or quasi- religious one. It should be moved from Science to Religion.

Has nothing to do with my religion at all. It has to do with the fact that no one observed creation so there is no way we can knoe how ut happened. Evolution as the origin of life will be a theory until we can time travel and see for sure.

Does evolution include creation? Where does it say that? As far as the origin of species by means of natural selection is concerned, we can time travel. We have the fossil record, observation, and DNA data. There is no doubt about it all.
Science at the time was used by the Nazi's to tell the German people they needed to be protected from the Jews.
Natural selection is mostly true adaptation is mostly true. We cannot time travel, we can look at the fossil record and make assumptions about it..
