The show must go on . . . or not

In a recent dream, I am backstage in a Broadway theater where the shows are becoming more lavish and professional, but the staff feels under pressure. I see two or three racks of costumes. I then see an actor wandering about. He is from a show that ended a long time ago.

I look out at the audience. Theatre seating has been replaced by dining tables, each covered with a white linen tablecloth, with a candle at the center. About five people in elegant clothes are seated at each table. I hear someone say that the theatre electrical circuits are overloaded and there will be a fire, although this announcement does not provoke any alarm. I remember there had been previous fires at the theater.

Next, I am outside the theater, looking at it from across the street in the daylight. The street is empty of traffic, and the theater doesn’t look like a Broadway venue but an old movie house with a marque in the front. My impression was that the venue and the performances kept changing over the years, from vaudeville to nightclub to musical show to dinner theatre to movie theater.

My interpretation is that each venue and type of performance represents a different era or epoch in human history. When each era reaches its peak, a “firestorm” of change brings a new period of human theater. The last scene is a bit troubling. Does the movie house appear vacant because it is daytime or is it closed because humanity has left the stage?

So you think humanity is all at a dinner theatre about to catch on fire?

Please, tell me it's not a musical

Seriously , the latest theory about dreams is that they are actually your brain replaying the day's events so that you'll do them better next time. Most of the dream's "story" is made up after you awaken. The actual dream makes little if any real sense at all

On further reflection, the dream may be about American history, not world history.

And, yes, the final performance will be a musical.

    Winter for US and Trump

I dreamt last night that my co-worker was angry because he hadn't been paid on time because he hadn't submitted his timesheet on time. ...it seems my dreams are just tormenting me by replaying the annoying yet dull parts of my real life.

Why can't I have interesting, potentially prophetic dreams?

Human history is actually quite predictable. One tenant of mankind is "Pride." As people reach a point that they no longer think they need God, they become prideful of their accomplishments believing they came without God's help or blessings. They actually do come from God. Yes, our huge brains reason out great scientific discoveries. But, that's only because we managed to grow spiritually since 1776. But, recently, that has deteriorated and pride has set in. Pride is always followed by loss of freedom and liberty. Over the past 50-60 years, blacks have gained much of this liberty and freedom to now lose it because of the majority of the country's prideful behaviors. Pride about breaking the commandments of God like homosexual behavior, transvestite behavior, Marxist and Fascist behaviors and all other immoral behaviors. It's really quite sad...

I do thank the Lord for that... I would make a terrible prophet.

So would I. It's a thankless position as well. All you get are stones thrown at you :)
