That is the point of using a firearm in self defense. When a firearm is used in self defense, it means the situation has gotten out of control and nonlethal alternatives are no longer viable possibilities that can be relied on.

 

He also had a pilot’s license and access to a plane. Considering it was obvious he didn’t plan to survive ....

 

If you don’t know, why did you make the remark you did?

 

Think what the carnage would have been if he did a 911 with that plane into the concert.

 

Yep, the point being, given he wasn’t planing to survive and was determined to build a large body count on his way out, being deprived of firearms is not likely to have prevented his dimented message that was being meticulously planned for sometime prior to the event.

 

He -could- have scored a minigun.

 

Given the money he apparently had, acquiring one legally was not out of the question.

Don’t confuse him, yet. I am trying to ferret the depth of the myths being swallowed.
But, on the outside chance, Hollywood magic is real, I want one of those guns that never miss at any distance, have unlimited mag capacity (even in revolvers), and kill anything they hit, have no recoil, and blow up fuel tanks in any vehicle... I keep hoping a Hollywood educated GCA will share where one can be acquired.
