I have been disillusioned with the U.N. for some number of years now. But, I always said to myself that the one saving grace of the UN is the WHO (World Health Organization.)

But now that ceases to be the case. The WHO has completely messed up on its one job during this Coronavirus outbreak. Tell the truth. See the following links:

So, I think it's only right, and fully justified, for President Trump to slash our WHO funding.

Yet Democrats stand up to block him. This is a stain on their reputations, even though they will hide behind a touchy-feely, feel-good masquerade that we actually care about the international community, and let's be friends of the world community.

Of course the HOUSE of representatives will do everything it can to obstruct Trump's administration from acting against WHO.

The Left was warping "science" to serve their own political purposes.

Less than two weeks ago, the enlightened position in both Europe and America was to exercise nothing less than extreme caution. Many of us went much further, taking to social media to castigate others for insufficient social distancing or neglecting to wear masks or daring to believe they could maintain some semblance of a normal life during coronavirus. At the end of April, when the state of Georgia moved to end its lockdown, the Atlantic ran an article with the headline “Georgia’s Experiment in Human Sacrifice”. Two weeks ago we shamed people for being in the street; today we shame them for not being in the street.

As a result of lockdowns and quarantines, many millions of people around the world have lost their jobs, depleted their savings, missed funerals of loved ones, postponed cancer screenings and generally put their lives on hold for the indefinite future. They accepted these sacrifices as awful but necessary when confronted by an otherwise unstoppable virus. Was this or wasn’t this all an exercise in futility?​

They Lied To Us. If the Mass Protests were fine, so would have been the funerals, the time for families to join in grief at the passing of loved ones. The forgone proms and graduations.

 

What happens when these same Lying Political Hack "experts" urge people to get vaccinated with a new compound? How about if we need a new round of shutdowns?

“The risks of congregating during a global pandemic shouldn’t keep people from protesting racism,” NPR suddenly tells us, citing a letter signed by dozens of American public health and disease experts. “White supremacy is a lethal public health issue that predates and contributes to Covid-19,” the letter said. One epidemiologist has gone even further, arguing that the public health risks of not protesting for an end to systemic racism “greatly exceed the harms of the virus”.

The way the public health narrative around coronavirus reversed itself overnight was the blatant politicizing of "science."​

While the lying politicized "experts" are open with their political manipulation, the people they hope to influence have stopped listening to their advice. They have no one to blame but themselves for that outcome, just as the idiots at the CDC who spent weeks insisting that masks were useless now have no one to blame but themselves for the people who won’t listen to their advice now to start wearing them.

If experts want to retain credibility, they should have intentionally nurtured it. Also applies to the Lying Fake News media that spent the last month pretending that this issue didn’t exist at all, including the New York Times. The Gray Lady has been just as hyperbolic and slanted as any other Lying Fake News media outlet when it comes to beachgoing which is much less risky than congregating shoulder-to-shoulder for protests.

The gratuitous self-righteous scolding of the open air spaced beach goers in bright windy sunshine was both evidence- and science-free, even when coming from scientists, and especially when coming from the Lying Fake News media.

~ Personally if that should happen I think the vast majority of people will tell the government to "screw off ! " - as well we should. I highly doubt there will be a vaccine that is any more effective than our current flu vaccine.
If there is any good to come from this man-made disaster it the realization that China is today's Nazi Party and Xi Ping today's Hitler. I also believe most people now see the mainstream media/press for what they are - politicized hacks with an agenda to deceive - not inform. Like the majority of politicians they likely sell out to corporate America and anyone else with a fat bankroll.
