Gentiles are sinners; Jews are not.

Galatians 2:15(CEV) = 15 We are Jews by birth and are not sinners like Gentiles.

Non sequitur, as only the Hebrews consented to live in a theocracy under Mosaic law.

Sola Fide pertains to how one may find grace, but it doesn't address how one may falll OUT of grace.

Few branches of Christianity see a salvation event as permanent.

Matthew 25 pertains to how one may become rejected by God.

Paul's letter to the Galatian Christians has a lot to do with figuring out how to reconcile the different laws and paractices of the people in Anatolia and Mosaic law.

There were customs that would be considered sin by the Christians to whom Paul was writing. One was circumcision. So, should gentiles be cirumcised when they become Christians?

In general, reading one sentence in any wrtten work just doesn't lead to a real understanding.

Sola Fide - is about how one obtains salvation. For Christians who believe in Sola Fide - Salvation is permanent as soon as you accept Christ as your redeemer.

I know that Matt 25 pertains to how one may be rejected via lack of good works - hence why it contradicts Sola fide.

Catholics, Lutherns, Methodists, Orthodox all believe salvation may be lost. In general, protestants believe salvation may be lost.

Denominations termed "Reformed" tend to see salvation as permanent. I don't know their logic.

Again, Sola Fide pertains ONLY to how one may achieve salvation. But, it doesn't address how one may LOSE salvation.

Matthew 25 is a message to those who are Christians - addressing ways in which they may lose their salvation.

This verse is so hard to obey sometimes...but so important:

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:31-32

3 John 1:5-7 (NKJV) = 5 Beloved, you do faithfully whatever you do for the brethren [a]and for strangers, 6 who have borne witness of your love before the church. If you send them forward on their journey in a manner worthy of God, you will do well, 7 because they went forth for His name’s sake, taking nothing from the Gentiles.

Found a pretty good movie on YouTube.. "the Gospel of John" , done much better than the usually hokey Christian movies. Netflix has another "AD:Kingdoms and Empires" also adds flesh to the characters.

A lesson in how to resist pain =

4 Maccabees 10:5-8 (CEB) = 5 The guards were furious at his bold speech. They used their instruments to pull his hands and feet out of joint, and dislocated his arms and legs. 6 Then they broke his fingers, arms, legs, and elbows.7 In spite of this, they weren’t strong enough to break his will, so they put away their tools and tore off his scalp the way the Scythians do it—they used their fingernails. 8 Then they dragged him to the wheel. As they were pulling his spine apart, he saw his own flesh falling off his bones and his blood pouring out.

    Don't trust snitches.

Proverbs 11:13 (ERV) = People who tell secrets about others cannot be trusted. Those who can be trusted keep quiet.

Amen to the second part of that.

But, I do see it as prudent to share knowledge. As for science, sharing is pretty much a requirement for progress. In fact, networking to share information was a significant addition to our scientific progress.

Maybe there is some other factor here. In most kinds of contest total openness can be a problem.

So He said to the Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, you are truly My disciples. 32Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” 33“We are Abraham’s descendants,” they answered. “We have never been slaves to anyone. How can You say we will be set free?”…

Doomed is the lying, murderous city, full of wealth to be looted and plundered! 2 Listen! The crack of the whip, the rattle of wheels, the gallop of horses, the jolting of chariots! 3 Cavalry troops charge, swords flash, spears gleam! Corpses are piled high, dead bodies without number— men stumble over them! 4 Nineveh the whore is being punished. Attractive and full of deadly charms, she enchanted nations and enslaved [fn] them.
5 The Lord Almighty says, "I will punish you, Nineveh! I will strip you naked and let the nations see you, see you in all your shame. 6 I will treat you with contempt and cover you with filth. People will stare at you in horror. 7 All who see you will shrink back. They will say, 'Nineveh lies in ruins! Who has any sympathy for her? Who will want to comfort her?' "
8 Nineveh, are you any better than Thebes, the capital of Egypt? She too had a river to protect her like a wall—the Nile was her defense. 9 She ruled Ethiopia [fn] and Egypt, there was no limit to her power; Libya was her ally. 10 Yet the people of Thebes were carried off into exile. At every street corner their children were beaten to death. Their leading men were carried off in chains and divided among their captors. 11 Nineveh, you too will fall into a drunken stupor! You too will try to escape from your enemies. 12 All your fortresses will be like fig trees with ripe figs: shake the trees, and the fruit falls right into your mouth! 13 Your soldiers are helpless, and your country stands defenseless before your enemies. Fire will destroy the bars across your gates. 14 Draw water to prepare for a siege, and strengthen your fortresses! Trample the clay to make bricks, and get the brick molds ready! 15 No matter what you do, you will still be burned to death or killed in battle. You will be wiped out like crops eaten up by locusts. You multiplied like locusts! 16 You produced more merchants than there are stars in the sky! But now they are gone, like locusts that spread their wings and fly away. 17 Your officials are like a swarm of locusts that stay in the walls on a cold day. But when the sun comes out, they fly away, and no one knows where they have gone! 18 Emperor of Assyria, your governors are dead, and your noblemen are asleep forever! Your people are scattered on the mountains, and there is no one to bring them home again. 19 There is no remedy for your injuries, and your wounds cannot be healed. All those who hear the news of your destruction clap their hands for joy. Did anyone escape your endless cruelty?

A prudent man concealeth knowledge — He doth not vain- gloriously and unseasonably utter what he knows, but keeps it in his breast till he hath a fit occasion to bring it forth for God’s glory, and the good of others; but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness — The heart of a foolish man induces him to make ostentation of his knowledge, whereby he betrays his ignorance and folly. Benson Commentary which explains the passage a bit more.

    Promise to Gentiles
14“ I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me, 15even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. 16“ I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd.† 17“ For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it again.†

    I am not a believer
And yet I think there IS wisdom in the bible
OTOH, there is lots of wisdom that is NOT in the bible
And there are lots of books that contain a higher percentage than the bible

Further, your OP illustrates one of the chief problems of the bible
People selectively choose bits and pieces from the bible
    (Like anti gay stuff)
And this selectivity inherently misrepresents the bible as a whole
And you wind up with your own version of the bible
    Like Thomas Jefferson’s bible.
    https://www.smithsonianmag.com/arts-culture/how-thomas-jefferson-created-his-own-bible-5659505/

As a side note.... the question of belief in god is separate from ones feelings about the Bible. If there is a god, it may still be the case that the bible is only a pale representation of him.

?? I don't know anyone who would suggest that idiots should proclaim foolishness.

And, I don't know anyone who would suggest hiding knowledge when there is any chance that it would be helpful in some way.

Of course, if you are at war you might hide knowledge. But, we're not at war here inside the USA. And, hiding information about crime, about medicine, about climate, about immigration, about guns and gun violence, etc., is seriously detrimental to our society.

Never was. In Judaism repentance was the way of forgiveness. Blood sacrifices 'covered' sins. Atonement was through repentance.
