You haven't listened to much of it then. No, it isn't - not the good stuff, anyway.

 

It is hard to argue with people who do not understand the music. Heavy Metal super, because it's real music, the absolute minimalism and a wide range for creativity .

I was a teenager when it first came out 40+ years ago so I've heard a lot of it...I didn't like it then and I don't like it now...

music is subjective I don't judge people by what they enjoy listening to...

That's fair enough, but you did describe it as 'mindless screeching noise', which it certainly isn't. Each to their own, obviously, and everyone has their own tastes, and that's fine, but that doesn't mean that something that somebody doesn't happen to like is 'mindless screeching noise'.

 

'mindless screeching noise' -obviously not what you hear but that's what I hear...I have to leave the room when mrs wyly listens to her country music and my kids don't care much for what I like, luckily everyone has ipods, mp3 players of some sort so we all get along...

 

The worst music I've ever heard is anything written by a Britain's Got Talent or X-Factor winner.

Hard to say. I guess Nu Metal is pretty crap, but I don't mind some of it.

I heard this recently. I didn't recognize it at first but knew the words for some reason.. and then remembered! I never saw this video or knew what these guys looked like.

This was supposed to be the definitive 80's power ballad. (sorry Scorpions) I always thought you could hear bleached long and fluffy hair sprayed mullets, colorful makeup and epic posturing all over this song, but no you won't get that here.
