I guess you missed the spike in deaths in March-May 2020, that is evident from the graph in you source? Plus, conveniently, the graph stops in October, when the second wave just started rolling in. Typical cherry picking of data that support a bogus partisan viewpoint.

I've covered some of Briand's webinar before. Unless she's come up with something new, I'd have flunked my econ classes if I tried this ****, and there's a reason it was in a webinar instead of actually getting published in a peer-reviewed publication.

How can we trust an economist about sanitary matters?
My educational is economical and I do know that economists guess ... so imagine if they can say something about a pandemic!
As for myself, I've changed field. Now I know what a pandemic is.
