Yes and it also saves the costs associated with criminal trials and imprisonment as well.
This sort of thing happens every day across America but the media tries to keep it quiet if they can. Incidents like this are becoming more frequent because people are fed up with the wild west mentality in some communities and the government ignoring the problem. It's much easier to blame the lawful gun owner. If the shooter in this video is unlicensed his troubles are only beginning but if he is licensed he may be subject to a civil action from the criminal's family and he could lose. A liquor store here and Massachusetts owner shot a would be robber in the groin effectively destroying his manhood. The criminal sued but lost, how's that for justice?
I NEVER SAW A GUN from the man on the right who was supposedly shot DID YOU???Without sound it is hard to determine.
Take another look. Just when he gets to the counter the gun is in his left hand, and right before he is shot he puts it in his right hand. There's are two videos at the link, the second one is larger and easier to view.
61falcon, who are you siding with? Be honest.
He did pull something from his pocket but I could not definitely say it was a gun, and he put whatever it was back in his pocket very quickly. With no sound it is hard to know what if anything was said. The source of the video appears to be Mexican.
As expected, you didn't answer.
I looked at it several times he did appear to pass whatever it is he pulls from his left side pocket to his right hand but I could not swear that it was definitely a gun.The first time I watched it I thought he put whatever it was back in his left side pocket on the third look I saw he passed it to his right hand, but based on the video I could not swear it was a gun.
Here's a screen shot from my computer.
Knowing what if anything was said would greatly help.It all took place very quickly.
I agree, but the customer was in a position to hear what was said and immediately understood what was going down.
The bad guy died, the end.
The guy who did the shooting was a customer, He didn't work there.
I think the shooter was totally justified and did exactly what he should have.
My own feeling is that NOBODY should have a gun, robber OR shooter but if somebody must I am glad it was the non-robber.
I did have some concerns at first as to whether the robber's gun and intentions were clear but more careful observation made that obvious
Nobody should have a gun? This is fairytale land you speak of.
Looking at the video several times the two people who the robber passed coming in to the store got out of the way right away when he pulled out whatever which does appear to have a barrel from his left side pocket. In this case the man who covers his ears was an eyewitness to the full encounter and almost a victim. So it should be an open and shut case of self preservation and protection.
Ya think! Good observation!
Being in fear of your life can make you very cold-blooded and precipitate. One of the reasons I don't carry a gun is I am quite sure that should I ever pull it, I would use it and that is because I know myself to be a coward and not a brave man. I would want to end the threat, not hold a gun on it.
Or someplace else than the USA, that is the situation in most civilized nations on Earth.
I have friend that lives in the British Virgin Islands, I went to visit. He said guns are prohibiited due to british law. I asked if everyone had a gun? He said yes. prohibition at it finest. Good for them!
Do all the criminals have guns too, like here?
Were you expecting an armed robber to warn shoppers in advance?
No. He killed him for threatening the life of the employee in front of him. I'd shake the guy's hand and buy him lunch if I was there.
IMO, its a very lefty thing to presume that saying something will stop a man with a gun content on shooting you.
If "nobody" should have a gun-only that dead criminal would have.
Round of applause please!!!
