No no .. they were protesting . you were trying to claim that the use of the word "Fight" "22 times" in this kind of speech was some significant issue .. but this is nonsenses .. the example given you .. as also a form of protest .. the word "Fight" being in the Title of the song .. suggesting that teens need to fight for their rights .. including the right to party..

Would you like to Drag the Beastie boys to court .. label them "Domestic Terrorists" using the word fight to rile up teenagers .. who then went out and did some damage to property .. resisted authority .. and other evils...

I like where this is going Dairy .. do tell me more .. your zeal for for control and punishment of anyone who rebels against authority .. or councils such rebellion .. and God Forbid someone utters a phrase with the word "Fight" in it "Fight for your Rights" "Fight hard to win" ."keep up the good fight" "We have to keep going - we have to Fight on"

and let us not forget "we have to Fight the good Fight" - double points for that one.

You are going to be a busy girl rounding up all these indigents .. Domestic Terrorists the lot of them .. Up against the Wall !! hope you find this vid more suitable to your style.

I've been posting that Trump should be locked up for advocating to overthrow the government of the United States since Dec 22, 2020.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index.php?threads/lock-him-up-18-u-s-code-§ 2385-advocating-overthrow-of-government.582758/

His little plan hasn't failed yet, the right is putting into play every trick in their book to maintain minority rule and the Senate and Electoral College non-sense bake minority rule right into the whatever-it-is we're baking here in the US. These folks won't blink an eye if they perceive they have an opportunity to manipulate their control of a State legislature and Governor to sign an nth hour resolution to preempt "popular" election results come November/December/January 2024/25.

He didn't learn this from ISIS and Al Qaeda - he learned this stuff from his Dad and folks like Roy Cohn. And he has a natural ability to perform well at it - being a narcissistic psychopath. A shame he's apparently not into wet work or we'd never have had to deal with him as he'd likely have been busted as a serial killer.

The US is a spoiled, rich and well armed nation with the real desolation of war a long forgotten memory among old and young alike. If a completely transparent f-wit like Donald Trump can achieve what he did, then his supporters are ripe for the picking by a "conservative" like the PF member who wrote recently, "We are in desperate need of a courageous, independent leader....". Brilliant piece of modern political analysis. What we need is more elected federal offices. What we have now are 100 Senators that represent the location of where Guy Fieri goes to film any given episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. He's the Hulk Hogan of celebrity chefs imo, and he's made a lot of small business folks a lot of extra money. I like having states. I like everything about having states, except the Senate. I haven't run the numbers since last year when I ran them for 2019, but in 2019: 9 States represented 51% of the total US population, including DC and PR. That means that in the Senate, 18 Senators represented the majority of the people and 82 Senators represented the States that comprised a minority share of the US population. When you hear a Senator speak about the will of the people, reach back and grab hold of your wallet, because your being deceived by a member of our extremely shallow elected federal government claiming to represent the people.

All of the vast power of the US is served by 100 elected Senators representing where your favorite National Park is located, or your favorite whatever, most folks probably like it because it represents their tiny little contribution to vast power accumulated by the US equally in the Senate. No neck McConnell and his curly haired buddy Rand stand equally with Cornyn and Cruz and Padilla and Feinstein and all the rest of the US Elite 100.

And in the House, the House that faces election every two years, we have 435 elected representatives. Out of those 24 months how many do you suppose they spend among their constituents in their existential need to be reelected. Out of those 24 months of each term that they manage to hold their 0.23% seat representing their share of their role and responsibility to make the government work for the people, how much time do you suppose they spend making sure they have the opportunity to do it another two years? I'm gonna speculate that it's 6 months, leaving them with 18 months per term to learn what kinda stuff the lobbyists are trying to get past them and learning enough about every other part of the ten thousand things they need to know to do their jobs and all oh so more importantly having the extrovert character absolutely required to function in such an environment that where who you know eclipses what you know by infinite margins.

And then we have the poor sap that is foolish enough to aspire to the Presidency. 1 more. A total of 536 elected officials in the most powerful nation on Earth*.

536 Against all the corporations and all of the federal bureaucracies and all of the myriad third party players in between, and I haven't even talked about the DoD yet, much less the entrenched FBI still operating in some quasi legit never quite constitutionally prescribed role in the government of the nation, and of course let's not even begin to speculate on whether or not Tom Clancy's fantasies about Jack Ryan could and would offer a saving grace for the US.

    _
Simple math folks. If you don't understand how this is destined to continue along the path it has since 1787/09/17 when the geniuses that gave us 3/5ths and the aftermath of that "compromise": the American Civil War; will likely continue toward an even more apocalyptic conclusion, well, then, I suppose you folks trust that our corporations and our military are the real foundations of our nation. Wait, strike that, my point is simply that there is no possibility that the will of the people are adequately represented by 536 federally elected officials.... Much less that the solution is for a "courageous, independent leader" to save us all, everyone of us....

    _
I think the US deserves everything it has coming to it in retribution for slavery and for the aboriginal genocide it conducted. And the fact that so many members of the southern rebel culture adhere to a new civil war and seem to even long for it, well, it reminds me of a Frank Herbert novel called Soul Catcher. It's a messed up read. I don't recommend it.

    _
*Meh, if it isn't clear to anyone yet that the wheel of fortune has rotated the center of power on Earth back to China then, well, I suppose it's likely just Indian propaganda keeping hope alive at this point....

Someone did some math, added up the constituency in all the states, and it turns out that 50 Republican Senators represent 40,000,000 fewer people than 50 Senate democrats.

I have one mission, FatBack, to make sure Donald Trump isn't reelected.

As long as he is in the running, and he is in the running, I'm going to post about him.

My other posts will be about issues my party supports.

Do try to stay on point, okay?

    Deer?

    LOL!

Oh, and I do like to post about the science of UFOs in the science forum.
    I'm not too popular there.

You sure need to do a better job. People like you is why Biden’s approval rating hit 38% recently and Kamala less than 30%. People like you is why over 60% of americans think country is going in wrong direction.

so are you sure you are helping? I think you need a different approach. Try being moderate and try to stop being so obsessed with trump to the point of being radical. You haven’t learned a thing about Trump. He is far smarter than you and weaponizes people like you to sink his opposition. Trump’s biggest skill is manipulating his opposition. In his book, he even states bad press is good press as long as people keep talking about you. Msm and people like you is why he is in the news and why he remains popular, at expense of you and your party. He plays people like you for fools… you do his work for him and you don’t even know it. Trump makes his opposition his political weapon..

so these people want to spill the blood of the michigan governor? aoc? nancy pelosi? mike pence? because of a 200 year old jefferson quote? here is a more recent quote from the founder of their movement .......

In an interview with Breitbart published on Wednesday, Trump stated “You know, the left plays a tougher game, it’s very funny. I actually think that the people on the right are tougher, but they don’t play it tougher. I can tell you I have the support of the police, the support of the military, the support of the Bikers for Trump – I have the tough people, but they don’t play it tough — until they go to a certain point, and then it would be very bad, very bad.”

according to snopes the "tree of liberty" quote is accurately attributed to jefferson (i did check.) but they add

The quote was also scrawled across the shirt-back of American domestic terrorist Timothy McVeigh, who killed 168 people when he blew up a federal building in Oklahoma City, when he was arrested in 1995.

what was the damage done on jan 6? Forget about what msm and politicians said.

a bunch of fools, headed by shaman stormed capitol. How many killed? What was damage?

now compare to the hundreds of millions in damage during blm, antifa riots, 20 or so killed, police stations overrun. Not even comparable but of course, jan 6 was as bad as 09/11 right?

When the ****** bloody F**k does "legitimate free speech" include violently breaking into the Capitol building, battling with the guards (and directly causing the deaths of two of them in felony murders) placing all the Senators and Congresspersons in fear of their lives and attempting to assassinate the Vice President of the United States? No less than just that was clearly done by people acting on Trump's instructions and these crimes were witnessed by millions of American citizens watching on National Television..

The ONLY reason Trump's insurrection didn't succeed was that they couldn't find and kill Mike Pence. Had they done so the election WOULD have gone to the House and Trump's lickspittles would have given him the Presidency

If he runs again this scenario will repeat. Only this time Trump will have recruited contingents of the military to ensure it will succeed

If he is convicted of this insurrection Trump will be prohibited from ever running for any office in the USA ever again We MUST convict this criminal of this crime and save our country.

Well I'm sure whether he runs or not does not depend upon your opinion here.

This is a somewhat rather obscure forum.
I'm quite certain everyone here knows that you hate Donald Trump.

    YET.

My prediction is he is going to be. All these subpoenas are not for nothing and SOMEBODY IS going to talk, especially when long jail sentences are in the offing

And THIS time the outcome will be decided by JUDGES in COURTS. Judges who make just decisions based on truth, not lickspittle, fawning, traitorous POLITICIANS who wouldn't know truth or justice if it ran up and bit their fat behinds. People who see serious crimes being committed in front of their very eyes and brought to them by the same people who cover rocket launches and battles, and yet somehow deny what we all saw together and expect all of us to go along.

I think the American people are sick to death of this gaslighting and when this gets to court Dirty Donnie is done. For my own part I say just convict him and let him go. He's an old man, jail seems unnecessary but keep him FAR from the Oval Office.

I don't think the judges will feel the same. Pity.

Yeah, I bet Paul Reverse was obsessed with the British, he should have gotten off of his horse and walked.

    Give me a break.

    Trump is clever.

Trump isn't intelligent, he's dumb, but he's a clever promoter, very skilled at it. That's a talent, that's not 'intelligence'.

Clever and dumb can reside in the same human being.

    But wisdom and dumb cannot.

Other than that I don't believe a word you wrote.

FatBack, 'hate' is the wrong word

Someone can hate for no reason.

When someone says you 'hate', it implies you're the problem.

No, I don't hate Trump, I have contempt for him.

See, you can't have contempt unless you know the person you have contempt for, his deeds, his words, who he is, etc.

You can hate in a vacuum, but you cannot have contempt in a vacuum.

Remember the old adage, 'familiarity breeds contempt" ?

It isn't 'familiarity breeds hate' eh? There's a reason why that is.

You can hate in a vacuum, but you cannot have contempt in a vacuum.

And no, the dictionary will not make that distinction, only life experience can teach it.

Contempt, so be a tad more accurate when you characterize someone, thank you.

NONE of what happened in 2020 threatened the very foundation of OUR Nation the way the assault on OUR Capitol did January 6th.

There is no similarities and no dollar value can be put on the threat Benedict Donald's coup attempt was to Government by the People.

was sarcasm .. but poorly written on my part as easily misunderstood ... being frivolous-- mocking the black vs white paradigm .. Black vs white .. good vs Evil .. God vs Devil paradigm .. where "The Other" is to be cast in the role of Evil. To justify a nonsense proposition - in the epitomy of Ad Hom fallacy style.. that Donald is responsible for the actions of all who show up at his rally . .. NO NO .. Inspiring the "Insurrection" the "Coup" he was .. these were "Terrorists" of the domestic kind .. the worst evil the mind can imagine .. Yeah .. thats it .. thats what Trump is responsible for .. cause he is the arbiter of Evil .. these .. these .. unarmed protesters were going to sieze the Gov't they were .. and almost succeeded .. were it not for the Brave Security .. some of whome gave their lives .... and its all Trumps Fault .. a criminal he is .. Traitor to the nation... Lock Him Up .. right beside Hillary ..

Cut and paste .. repeat over and over .. and well you have the Blue Platform in a nutshell .. Sans the Hillary part at the end of course .. well .. cept for the Staunch Bernie Anti Establishment types .. still remember her dirty deeds .. Meddling with our electoral process at all .. think a few may have switched .. Biden is Establishment Wonk Central .. and big time Authoritarian.. inviolation of the DOI .. document which sets out what "Illegitimacy of Authority" is .. such that it should be removed.

I never said, nor inferred, anything close to " legit speech includesbreaking into the Capitol" .. off to a great start this post is ..nothing like a big FAT Strawman Fallacy to start of a good post..

Ah Yes .. Strawman followed by hyperbolic accusations... What part of .. The unarmed Capital protest that went awry .. was not an "Insurrection" by any "Friggen" stretch of the imagination .. in civil society .. aka .. Not your Authoritarian Fascist version of things. Where if a protest gets out of hand .. everyone present and involved in any way is automatically a "Domestic Terrorist" .. and life is beautiful all the time .. and I will be happy to magirnalize dissent ---with the heaviest hand of the State can be found .. all in the name of political gamesmanship complete with kangaroo clown show.of a judicial process. Judges protesting the sentence not harsh enough .. in a hypocritical rage of political venom. .

I read what you posted and it maintains exactly that. You say; "Never have I denied that Trump tried to overturn the election results via speaking out against the process." and yes, speaking out against the basic processes of our government IS subversion and insurrection, PARTICULARLY when that speaking out is couched in clearly violent terms as Trump's was.

You don't get excused from a crime because the crime didn't succeed. If you go to rob a bank and forget to arrange for a getaway car and so are caught while running away on foot a block down the street you don't get a "woopsie", and you sure as hell aren't given a "do-over", like many of you want to give Trump

Yes it is a corrupt system. It was a nice concept like Marxism that has been corrupted beyond repair. Government would work fine if there weren't people involved.
