Sure, Which is why Israel must provide security to the Gaza Strip with governance provided by Gazan civilians after Hamas is eliminated. This is similar to what is existed in the Gaza Strip before Israel left in 2005. This plan is documented in the Netanyahu "The Day After" Hamas is eliminated proposal.

The big problem in Gaza is distribution of the humanitarian aid and theft of a great percentage of that humanitarian aid by Hamas. Some Gazan civilians have been executed by Hamas for attempting to distribute food, water, and medicine to the needy in Gaza. Hamas has justified the executions claiming that those attempting the distribution are Israeli collaborators.

    Well...

Her father's dead body is still in Gaza.

Why do you think you can speak for Gazans?

Are you aware that you contradict your previous assertion that a lot of Gazans just want to be left alone?

That is a problem too, yes. But it doesn't justify Israel restricting the food and other essential goods from getting into Gaza.

I can't speak for all Gazans. Neither can you or she.

Not at all. Gazans are not a monolithic single mind incapable of change.

Any words of wisdom about why Egypt controls and restricts how much food and other essential goods get into Gaza?

Yes, I'm being snarky on purpose. Controlling what goes in and out of a sovereign country over its own border is not a siege. Also, no country in the world is able to lay siege to a territory that borders another sovereign country, unless they conquer that other sovereign country first. So...you're right, it's not a siege, but you're wrong about why it's not a siege.

We talked so much about definitions on other topics...definitions matter in other areas of interest too, you know.

Yep. But you still think you know what they want, how they think, and what they'll do in certain circumstances.

Not snarky. Irrelevant. Israel doesn't just restrict what goes over its own borders. It also restricts aid by sea and through Egypt's border with Gaza.

    Some of them, absolutely.

Some young men will become terrorists in the circumstances Gazans are put in. That's basic human nature and will and has happened across the planet throughout time.

Many want to live in peace and be left alone. Also basic human nature.

    This isn't rocket surgery.

lol, what plan? There is no plan. That is why Netanyahu’s political coalition is collapsing. That is why they have failed to accomplish anything but slaughter civilians and radicalize more people. They are doing a wonderful job of strengthening Hamas, not destroying it. They are playing directly into Iran’s hands.
Iran’s goal was to stop the normalization of Israeli relations with its neighbors, and they succeeded beyond their wildest expectation thanks to Netanyahu’s stupidity and the complete lack of competent leadership in Israel.

Some of that is true. Use citizens as meat shields so some get killed int he cross-fire and we can paint them as the BAD GUYS!
That won't work forever. The only idiots dumb enough to buy that are American College Kids and far left European nations.

All that has happened in the Gaza Strip have been the result of the actions of Hamas.

Gazans want peace and prosperity they enjoyed from 1967 through 2005. You seem to think very little of Gazan civilians unaffiliated with Hamas.

Nothing according to our UI friends. They seem to feel that Israel should just sit there and allow their civilian neighborhoods to take it.

Based on how the US sponsored UNSC ceasefire resolution was handled, one has to conclude that the US is presenting itself as the "protectorate power" authorized to speak on behalf of Israel, even on issues Israel's prime minister has publicly disavowed!

The UNSC resolution pretends Israel has already accepted the ceasefire plan and is focused on pressuring Hamas to do so as well. When diplomats wanted to amend the US draft to have the resolution call on both parties to accept the deal, the US maintained that Israel had already accepted the deal and America's assurances on this point are sufficient. No need to search for the Israelis have said publicly!

They can have that as soon as they give up the hostages and hamas.

    Do you understand?

    Horrible.

Noice that several of the kidnappers were children (under the age of 19).
