What you are missing because of your warming hysteria and obsession is this study has little to do with that and is much more focused on habitat destruction from over development.

You have an extremely limited and inaccurate understanding of evolution.

And another obsessed with warming person missed the main crux of the study which is over development causing loss of habitat and real pollution.

...no, I did not miss that aspect - global warming is a threat to many of these species, but the primary is destruction of habitat.

They probably think we caused dinosaurs to go extinct.

You know, i would take you more seriously if the so called skeptic community ever actually addressed these problems .... other than as an excuse.

Are you implying America hasn't made huge advances in reduction of pollution and being more environmentally friendly in the last fifty years?

So cool. Can you link us to info on ice age instruments! I'm so intrigued.

Stop worrying, it's been far hotter on this planet and at that time the abundant vegetation growth fed dinosaurs and left behind at least
But if you are still scared this might relax you a bit..

No, i am not implying that at all

Without need for any alleged implication or ambiguity
I am DIRECTLY SAYING that the crew who presents themselves as “skeptics” is the same crew that has routinely opposed pollution regulations...because, after all, they oppose ANY regulations. And they always say that the proposed regulations will make our economy non competitive and will kill jobs. Which, big surprise, is exactly what Donald Trump’s lackeys are now doing with the epa.

I'm the crew you are speaking of and I was an environmentalist before it became fashionable and before the global warming hysteria turned the movement upside down. Suddenly everything original environmentalist were against is now accepted as green energy since it doesn't produce C02. Nuclear power and dams are two prime examples. Screw free flowing rivers and salmon runs, global warming is all that matters now.

Man has always warmed the planet, even when we didn't exist=) Or more accurately, the planet's climate has changed many times before man arrived, but THIS time, its ALL man's fault. /derp

Forest fires have existed before humans ever existed. And yet the most deadly forest fire in California's history was caused by man-made powerlines.

Your /derp does go very well with that logical fallacy you just used.

That same fire could have been started by a simple lightning strike. Whooops. Fires have been started with lightning hitting dry wilderness for...lets seee...millions of years?

Oh yeah. Feel free to stop using electricity, since it causes forest fires. Check that. You're typing posts on a device powered by man made electricity, hosted on servers being powered by the same electricity, probably driving home to a house requiring power. Or are you living in a tent, using solar power only? Never mind. The device you're using to harness that solar power required oil and machinery that was built by other machines that require man made electricity.

You living off the grid yet dude?

    So what?

Of all species that have existed on Earth, 99.9 percent are now extinct. Many of them perished in five cataclysmic events.

We're cooked if a big asteroid hits the earth or we get a polar inversion anyway. You remind me of a friend of mine. He drank Kale smoothies every day, ate right, exercised every day and ran 3 half marathons a year. He died at age 64 with a brain aneurysm.

And yet CO2 is only slightly higher now than when the last ice age ended 12,000 years ago.
