For the sake of the Republican Party and for America its time these two losers throw in the towel. Everyone knows its a two man race now so why would these two keep the charade going, which in the end only serves to hurt the Republican nominee while boosting obama's chances for reelection.

Gingrich made his move to the top, as did every other candiate--only to drop back out of sight. Paul has never made a move to the top, as we all know he only has a set amount of Paulot groupies who are basically living in a time warp. So now its Santurum's time to rise to the top where we all know he will also fade to where we can concentrate on Romney's plan to bring down this destructive presidency of obots. :pride:

Interesting...not wrong, but why not let them make up their own mind. It's like...well, don't air dirty laundry in public. I don't like to see "us" give any ammunition to The Left.

Well, the fact is that both those guys are going to make up their own minds on their broken watch, as detrimental to the Republican party as that might be. I agree with you about them airing dirty laundry out in public isn't a good idea, ergo, my wanting them to bow out now as gracefully as one can.

I agree that Paul is hurting the Republican party the most..but that is his right and this is politics..if he drops out he should receive something in return. ..and he should give some assurances that he will actively support the nominee this time against Obama.

His 15% support will be the difference..not newts 5%.
newts support has ALL GONE to Santorum.. they have a player still in..

We have Obama attacking Romney.. a double team of the same group attacking Romney and a libertarian attacking all three. We have a Evangelical church actively campaigning against Romney..and the liberal press attacking Romney only ..each night.
Is it any wonder his voter approval% has dropped ? ( Romney ) and Romney's easy lead over Obama by 10 pts is now gone.? ( duh )
Romney has faced attacks from the libertarian branch of the Republican party..The ultra far right wing of the same party and the far left democrats..

Strange deals indeed. Not 1 of those guys would beat Romney head to head..but the sum of them all has destroyed him.Every word out of every voice on TV is Anti Romney..Every written word attacks his weakness..yet seldom mentions his positives at all.20 debates ..all to be the anti - Romney..

When gas hit $ 5 bucks and that PHONY 3rd shift building Chevy full size trucks shut down..and your job gets cut next spring.. remember this.

There was a guy ..a clean un corrupt guy ..who made a living fixing broken economics in business and government..and YOU rejected him because he was more successful than you and he worshiped God different than you do.

And..You allowed yourself to be led by the same status quo that you thought HE represented. Who told YOU that..They same dream team that won again...and By the same Status quo Republican ultra conservative that got destroyed in his own home state ...

    You know what..?

President Obama really likes the middle class ..all the way to his community organizing bank.

Do you honestly believe Romney has never once put himself over others and that he is squeaky clean?? You really believe he's an honest businessman that's never once made a profit over someone else's misery?

    Really??

I actually think that's a terrible idea. It ensures Romney will get the necessary number of delegates, even if he wouldn't be the clear winner otherwise. Frankly I'm hoping for a brokered convention, it's really the only chance the GOP has of putting up a candidate worthy of support.

I disagree to a certain extent. Paul is a Constitutionalist and his support is solid. I'd like to see a Romney/Paul ticket. The combo could provide enough votes to secure a win.

A lot of Paul supporters would support that ticket, and in the VP slot, I don't think it would detract enough to matter.

Santorum should step aside... after all his supporters are too stupid to stay after the vote to be chosen as delegates... they just go home.
Paul and Romney supporters are the ones that stay, so they're ending up with all the delegates.

There was a time when they said that about others. We don't really know if Santorum is going to stay the non-Mitt candidate. Just as the others shot to top and then came back down, he too could experience that. Its far too soon to be saying this. As for Paul, his supporters may not go to any of the other candidates so I doubt he's taking any votes from anyone. His supporters are so loony, they will likely stay home if he isn't the guy. Only a small % of them will probably vote for the eventual nominee.

Newt still has a chance. When we get to super Tuesday, we'll know more.

If the eventual nominee is Santorum or newt I will not vote for the eventual nominee either.
The Democratic party gave us Obama.
The Republican party will help re elect him.

    Anybody but Obama. ?

That's only because newt and Santorum could never defeat him without that plea.

Romney/Paul would be like trying to pair up fire and ice. Two completely opposite ends of the spectrum.

Paul is the only reason the Republican party might have a chance to beat Obama. Paul is the one attracting all of the independents and youth to the Republican Party. If you screw over Paul, you're going to reelect Obama. Where do you think his supporters will go? Some of them will write-in Paul, most of the rest will go back to the Democratic side, and just a few will vote for the Republican candidate. You marginalize Paul at your own peril.

Considering Paul is probably the most fit out of all the candidates ...no...I don't...

There's a big difference trying to compare someone's age to someone's morals...but nice troll attempt...

How does Romney plan on being different? By putting in his own form of healthcare as he said he would do? By raising the hidden taxes as he did as governor that hits most middle to lower class citizens? By gun control laws? By starting another war with the "big bad brown men" of the middle east? What is Romney going to do that is actually different than Obama?

Newt is the same as Santorum, and if Newt goes, so does the chances of the GOP winning against Obama cause Santorum would get Newts support. Santorum can not win vs Obama.

I don't get your reasoning here. Do you think Pauls 15% is going to actually vote for 1 of the 4 people completely opposite of their values and all the same? Sorry, but that 15% is going to stay fighting against these big government progressives, whether they are from the right or left, you are all the same.

Romney = Obama. You neo-cons have a lot of trouble grasping that concept for some reason.

    mmm.. A debate point ?
    Not a very good one..

So..there are 2 ways to go with this argument..

One is that Obama hasn't caused any misery to single person..or city..or state.. or region..since he was
NEVER a businessman of any type ?
And that UNIONS are a squeaky clean deal that has brought prosperity and joy to every single person they surround..and that GOVERNMENT is better than business in that government has less corruption and less Profit?

The other is that all business is bad and that all Romney business is even more bad..since he made money while GOOD GOVERNMENT ventures lost money and needed to be tax payer bailed out.
Unless you understand GOVERNED DEBT is not business debt you cannot argue anything on those 2 points.

Example 1 ..Olympic games in Utah..
Was corrupt and losing millions..he came..not on his own..but He WAS ASKED to help..he came ..he saw..he fixed..and now HARVARD teaches a course on it. He did it without government aid..help or taxes.RE READ THAT LAST LINE.
He took a 3 million dollar debt and made several million dollars..without CORRUPTION..crony pay for play..and earned NOTHING while doing it.
He gave back his 3 year salary and donated an additional million from his own family.

How much did Santorum give to his church or anything like it over the last 4 years ?
The Olympic arenas are still there today and Utah still earns money from them...
What has newt done that lasted this long ?

Example 2. He started at the bottom..not the top..so he knows business from the bottom and not top down..Name any business that Santorum or newt has started that they can say the same ? They started companies with insider money influence made from past government work.Insider knowledge..Insider Washington know how..How well has Washington worked for you over the last 20 years ?
    Now you know why ..

Example 3 ..Government leadership..Being a governor for 4 years without PAY..to you that means he didn't profit one penny.ROMNEY !

Santorum said he wouldn't take a one penny raise..then voted for a salary increase for himself 3 times..THAT IS PROFIT...and guess what..YOU paid for it..

Pa. was so mad..he lost his seat by over 700,000 votes..somebody must have had some misery there ..

    A honest business man ?
No..a Honest HUMAN BEING being smeared by those who oppose his political and religious faith.

You couldn't get a more honest man to even think about running after this election cycle.

How much did Santorum give to his church ?
and then you rip Romney because he gave so much to his ?

    God IS watching...
