Time for Paul & Gingrich to STEP ASIDE.....

I'll do just that in 2016 if Paul is not running. But here in 2012, Paul is the only one running with Paul's ideas. The others are all bought, pro-establishment, aspiring despots. Therefore, the only logical choice is Paul. A vote for any one of Paul's opponents is a vote for despotism, overseas child-butchery, and the impoverishment of millions. There's no way on the face of the Earth that I'm voting for that.

I have been a Ron Paul supporter since 1988. When he was leaning into the LP, he was firm in his desire to keep the government out of our personal lives. This time he ran as a Republican and had to run on the agenda that did not fit him. Starting in 2000 the GOP took on the agenda based on wanting a Christian America. Bush 43 handed out federal grants to the Christians and that changed the agenda to fit the new title.

Not all Americans are Christians and certainly not all Republicans belong to any Christian faith. There is no reason to assume this association. Ross Perot did not drop out of the race until the last possible minute but he left a legacy of financial responsibility that should have been accepted by either or both parties.

Apparently Americans want and will demand a government that will tell them what not to do. It is not enough for the Christians to say that abortions are not a good thing. Republicans want to add abortions to the prohibitions along with gay marriages and death with dignity. Their strength of character is not strong enough to deny a choice of abortion. If my kids were as weak as the current GOP, I would send them back to first grade to learn right from wrong.

Senator Santorum knows (*)(*)(*)(*) well Christians do not have the ability to say no to anything. We are stupid women who need to be forced to obey even if it means going to a federal prison. To firm up his convictions, we will lose our ability to use birth control. In my world, he is a (*)(*)(*)(*) fool with a desire to be Emperor of the new Vatican in D.C.

Put him in office and watch how quickly there will be hundreds of new prisons to be built in all 50 stares. Before any woman enters an airplane she will be xrayed to see if she is pregnant. When she returns home, another xray will be done to see if she had an abortion.

Women are not broodmares and we never will be. This is America not some third rate nation living the shadows of some inquisition. We are now CEOs of some of the biggest corporations on the planet. We are the financial supporters of major Universities because we send our children there. Our girls will be as strong and healthy as we are. We can say no when it suits us and the churches be (*)(*)(*)(*)ed.

Gentlemen, get your jobs going so you can make enough money to keep up with your wives. Train your sons to be men and grow some balls and stop whining!

Put together a winning Republican Party that stands for individual freedoms for all Americans. Beating Obama should be a push over but only if you have a complete and useful Republican Party.

You establishmentarians have been playing this "lesser of two evils" guil-trip game for two hundreds years. Every president you want us to vote against is "the worst in history." Sorry. My vote can't be extorted.

Obama is only worse than Bush because he's expanded all of Bush's policies. And I would suggest that Romney would be worse than Obama because (1) he would continue all of Obama's policies in every significant degree (2) once he does, all the "conservatives" would start defending those very policies because "our guy" is doing them, just as the liberals became okay with wiretapping, assassinations, and war the second their guy started doing them and (3) therefore all the policies you now think make Obama "the worst president in history" would come to be the "mainstream" view of both sides of the aisle and all the more entrenched.

Mark my words, if Romney's elected, he'll tweak Obamacare a little, declare the matter finished, and stop worrying about it. In another 8 years, if you still want to abolish Obamacare, you'll be a kook according to everyone on every side. And Santorum would be even worse than Romney; he's a truly totalitarian theocrat without a pro-liberty bone in his body.

His abortion stance is a coward's way out of taking a stance of any kind of a political hot-button. It's nothing more than a way of duping naive people - like you - into thinking he has answers, when indeed he has none.

 

Federalism on the abortion issue isn't the coward's stance. It's the correct stance.

 

Which is precisely why Ron Paul is a liar. He knows danged good & well that the abortion issue will NEVER be other than a federal issue. But instead of admitting that, and saying whether he's pro-choice or pro-life, he just talks all this states rights BS double-speak, and obfuscates the issue so his zealots don't have to come to realize that he's actually pro-choice.
