The king is still alive and sounds of the piper can be faintly heard. Speculation abounds regarding what was done and by whom. Like him or loathe him, Donald Trump is now on the offensive and he holds all the cards. Watergate may end up looking like a jaywalking violation by the time this investigation is over. For the sake of the country, the investigation should be thorough, fair, and reasonably quick. The punishment need be commensurate with the offenses and painful enough to dissuade future corruption of this type. Sunshine, the best disinfectant, is anathema to both Dracula and the Deep State, but dawn is here. Understanding This Mess We don't know all that has happened because only part of the information is public. However, to understand what led us to this point, two major factors seem to have been in play. 1) Obama's Mission from God Mentality President Obama, was on a mission to "transform the country." The AG, Barr will uncover all the misdeeds done and expose those responsible for doing them. The culture of the swamp is pervasive and it must be drained.
Those are the facts about the man, not mere feelings. Feelings are what Obama experienced when thinking Ill of America and the loss of his legacy to we the people.
History, long term, will finally shine a light on this sad time for our country. From Obama on down many liberal people in high places approved and conducted spying on many of our innocent citizens. That is not the function of a republic government/country. It will take a long time because so many liberals who are willing to ignore our Constitution are still embedded in all branches of our government and are slow-walking all directives from Trump and AG Barr. It will take years to drain the swamp. And it's a much bigger swamp than we ever imagined. The IRS when found to be engaging in harassing conservative businesses and charities was just the tip of the iceberg.
It's easy to see why you started this thread in the 'Political Opinions and Beliefs' forum. Here you can flap your lips all you want and not have to back up anything you say with facts.
I like the OP. Thought provoking and much, much better than some of the other posts that just call names. Opinions don't always need facts.
