    I've long since been sick and tired of hearing members of Congress (and I'm not just talking about AOC) talk about how terrified they were to be crouching behind desks and locked doors on January 6th, 2021.


    Things like this have been a reality for countless Americans in many big cities for decades. Yet we don't hear a word about it until some wealthy legislators have it happen to them. The way they whine and carry on you would think it was the only time things like this ever happened in America.


    This goes along with the attitude of people like John Kerry who all but openly say that they can't cut back on their own carbon emissions while advocating everyone else do so because "they're special".


    You want to claim to be serving the common man (and woman) then be prepared to live like them as well

    Why do you disagree?

    People in cities where the rioters have been at it for months, have lost vehicles, businesses, and and fear leaving their homes, but the elites in DC experience a riot that lasts maybe a couple of hours, and they are unable to come to terms with it.

    What a bunch of wusses.

    Why would waste bandwidth saying the OP was warm-hearted, if you didn't have more to say?

    It's amazing to see the sequence of events that allowed trump to have such control of his minions. I could never understand Jim Jones and the control he had at Jonestown but I saw it played out today.

    The other thing I had missed was how many times trump called them to Washington on the 6th.
    To me that was a game changer.
    They really should nail this guy, but I know they won't.

    Very few Americans have their houses invaded by an angry mob, and if they did, I think it’s safe to say they would talk about it.

    How often have you seen the Capitol building of the country in the world that preaches and dictates freedom and political stability to other nations, under siege by t's own citizens driven to insurrection by the outgoing president of their country??? Dirty Donald, in one term, turned us into a third world banana republic.

    In America, if someone pulls a gun and fires at someone and misses we don't punish them with the death penalty.

    Because that is called ATTEMPTED MURDER!!! And they do serve time in prison, which is what the Orange turd deserves!

    No one is talking about executing the Rump, but he did incite the crowd to murder Mike Pence, his own VP. If you can't find how despicable that is, then something is seriously wrong with your thinking.

    A good place for them to start would be to forego a paycheck until they actually help those who are out of work because of the pandemic.

    1) I don't recall President Trump saying anything about harming VP Mike Pence. If he did can you provide some proof?
    2) Yes everything President Trump said from the election to Jan. 6th was despicable. I've never contested that.
