    Roe vs. Wade disagrees with you. It states that in the first trimester, you are right, but as the baby progresses, the government has the right to intervene for the unborn child.

    RvW does not disagree with me.

    After viability fetuses have "PROTECTIONS" NOT RIGHTS.....and that is a sop to the Anti-Choice movement so they wouldn't whine so much …..

    and it's OK because no mentally stable woman wants an abortion after viability.


    However , if the health/life of woman and/or fetus is in jeopardy, abortions after viability are allowed....


    Roe left it up to the states on some issues concerning abortion but states cannot ban abortion :)

    There isn't a woman on earth who ever had a child who didn't realize that she was nurturing a new, precious, vulnerable PERSON during her pregnancy. No doctor who works to help a woman carry her baby to term ever refers to the person inside the woman as anything suggesting it is not a human being. The euphemisms of pro-death advocates are only resorted to when a life is going to be taken and no one wants to face the reality of it.

    Terms like "pro abortion" and "pro death" are pretty damn silly.

    If "pro life" means believing that every pregnancy be carried to term, then "pro abortion" and "pro death" (that's a new one; silly, but inaccurate) would mean believing that every pregnancy should be terminated.

    Of course, no one is suggesting anything so stupid.

    Personally, I find the practice of abortion abhorrent. But I also believe it's not the government's place to step in and say what a woman can and cannot do with regards to abortion...
